We spent a couple of days at a B&B in the outskirts of Conegliano to allow us to tour the Prosecco wine route. Our B&B had a number of business cards from which to select a place to eat and we chanced on Casa Coste.
Entering the restuarant we got a good feel for the atmosphere of the restuarant. We also got a very friendly welcome even although we had not booked and the restaurant appeared very busy. Menu's were all in Italian, but help was available to translate and describe the dishes. There was a big family celebration party in the dining room, but this did not affect the quality of the service offered. Dishes chosen were fresh and tasty.
If you are not staying close to this restaurant, then it is necessary to have a car (or perhaps a taxi) to reach this restuarant. We were glad that we had brought our satnav, as unless you were a local it would not be easy to find. It was worth travelling the distance to have an enjoable meal, in lovely surroundings.
