I've used this hotel a few times. Everytime its been GREAT. Its set in some lovely grounds, with beautiful views, and a miniture Stone Henge! (really)

I use it for when I visit the Nurburgring. It's about 20km from the 'ring, which is about perfect for letting your car warm up before, or cool down after. There are some great roads on the way too.

The food is great, lovely German cuisine. They are licensed, and serve beer, wine etc. The best bit though, is the breakfast. Its a cold buffet style, with LOADS of homemade jams. The owners are also brilliant, ever so helpful, and always more than friendly. They speak English, especially Jacqueline, who is.

Rooms are very clean, comfortable, great for the price. They are all (i think) en suite, with TVs showing European and English channels, there is (thank god) free WiFi access too.

If you are thinking of staying in the region, stay here. I think it caters for both people wanting to visit the 'Ring, or just explore the beautiful countryside.

Took me a while to write my reviews from our family trip through Germany, but Nurbergring was our first stop on a three week trip with our three boys 18, 16 & 12).
We had just flown from Canada to Frankfurt and drove directly to our hotel. Exhausted and not used to using my sparse German, Jackie met us at the door and made us immediately welcome and to our surprise, she is English. We loved her little nods to England, mini Stonehenge and telephone booth!

The rooms were perfect for our family, spacious and clean. The food at this hotel is so fresh and authentic, we couldn't wait for supper each night. The included breakfast is also full of fresh food and impeccable service. There is a huge yard out back of the hotel and we went on a few walks on trails behind the hotel, such a beautiful location.

The most special part of our visit was when Jackie realized it was our son's 18th birthday and she baked a cake and served it to us candles and all that night, so thoughtful.

It's a short and scenic drive to the Nurbergring which didn't bother us at all. This is definately a hotel we would return to! Thanks Jackie. ❤️

I've waited way too long to write about Jackie and her family's hotel. We have stayed here more times than I can remember. We often visit the Nurburgring as a motorcycle group, whether it be on the way back from other destinations or for a long weekend. It really is a home from home, Jackie could not be more welcoming or helpful. The rooms are clean and extremely comfortable and the views are really quite stunning. The food (prepared by her husband) is wonderful and the wait staff are fantastic. As a large group of 20 or so, we have had our share of disasters over the years and she has always on hand to help us with anything we need. Our family now consider her a great friend and I look forward to returning again and again in the coming years.

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely, but the ones to the rear of the hotel overlook the beautiful garden

We have just returned from our first visit to this hotel (a five night stay whilst working at the nearby Nurburgring racing circuit) and my wife Sue and I were delighted with the experience as it bore out the very positive comments made by others on Tripadvisor previously.

The location is easy to find, but is in the countryside just outside the village of Auderath. From our arrival to our departure nothing was too much trouble for the excellent host Jacqueline who is a real credit to her profession. I must mention her husband Ulrich too, who is an excellent chef. We could have eaten elsewhere each evening, but chose to eat at the hotel on each occasion. The food quality was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Our bedroom was very clean and large enough, with modern décor and a quality ensuite.

We met some lovely fellow guests and it soon became apparent from chatting to them that they return time and again. A great recommendation in itself. This hotel will be our first choice when at the Nurburging in the future. Two last tips. Ulrich is German, but Jacqueline is English, and this may be a help for those with little knowledge of German. Also the hotel has plenty of off-road parking and I believe garages are available too if required. A wonderfully relaxing place to stay before tackling the challenges of the Nordschleife or just exploring the beautiful local countryside and towns/villages.

We travel widely and know good from bad. The odd place we've stayed has merited only 1 out of 10, but this hotel must be a 9 or even a 10. Enough said.

Room Tip: Rooms to the rear of the hotel face the gardens rather than the nearby road, but the latter seems to...

Stayed here with friends on a motoring holiday. A genuine warm welcome awaiting us from Jacqui when we pulled in to the car park. The rooms are extremely comfortable and everything is so well thought out. Nothing was too much trouble and we were so well looked after. The food and drink was fantastic as was the service throughout. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I traveled with another couple for a week in Germany. We booked one night at the Hotel Wilhelmshöhe; right after our first trip to the Nürburgring.

We pulled into the parking lot completely unannounced; one of the owners–Jackie–greeted us at the door. From that moment until checkout, the stay was *completely* stress-free. Jackie showed us to our rooms, and then served us dinner afterwards.

Dinner (cooked by Jackie's husband) was phenomenal; possibly the best in our week in Germany and Switzerland. The ladies in the group ordered schnitzel; a few minutes after the order was placed, we heard the pork being pounded flat. Clearly, the food was fresh. And delicious.

The hotel is modern, spacious, and clearly well-kept. All four of us loved the accommodations, and quickly wondered why we didn't book more than one night there.

Breakfast was delicious, including pastries, many homemade jams, yogurt, and granola (with most ingredients grown locally), and more. We ended up taking home a jar of jam, because it was so good.

The hotel/restaurant were also absurdly cheap given the treatment we got. When we left, I wanted to give Jackie a hug, since she made us feel like we had known her for years.

If you're within an hour of the hotel Wilhelmshöe, do yourself a favor, and stay there. You won't regret it.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Wilhelmshöhe this past week. Everything was perfect - the bed was comfy, the breakfast was delicious, the restaurant was fantastic and the service by Jacqueline, the hotel owner, was divine. Highly, highly recommend staying here.
