I would recommend this lodge to anyone. I recently had a two nights stay and attended a wedding. The setting is amazing and has a lovely homely feel to it. My room was fabulous, clean and spacious. The food was the best I have ever had at a wedding. Reception staff were great and a nice member of staff brought us to our room, he was very friendly. Could not fault bar staff either. One bad thing, waiting staff could have been better. Not the most attentive and did not seem very happy to be there.

I stayed here recently for a wedding. The rate was very good for a superior room. For the short time I was in the room it was very comfortable. On check in you are escorted to your room, probably because it is a bit complicated to get there. Down the hall, up the lift, across the walkway, up the stairs, up the next stairs, through a suite door, down the stairs. It's worth the trip and you can park behind the building for access with luggage or if you have mobility problems. The hotel is built into a hill so going up one set of stairs means you can walk out at ground level to the parking areas behind. There are a lot of steps and where there aren't steps the ground is steeply sloped. The view out towards lough arrow is beautiful.
The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've had. Anywhere. There are loads of staff on, quite attentive and the food itself beautifully and freshly cooked. I had forgotten what perfectly cooked rashers(bacon) looks and tastes like. Same with everything else. Another unique bonus was the freshly cooked breads, brown and white sweet bread. Probably the best bread I've ever had. I really filled up on that breakfast and that was after very little sleep and a great wedding party.
Before I returned home I dropped in (after beautifully scenic drive) to lough key forest park, a place I visited before during my childhood. A great place for families, couples, anybody. I hope to be back there again sometime.

Room Tip: The rooms in the original hotel have the best views. Be aware of the proliferation of steps.

We attended a wedding here in May and were very impressed with the beautiful setting. The hotel buildings themselves are quite modern but nice. The food was delicious - even with dairy-free modifications and everyone was impressed.

The one thing for us that lost a star was the fact that the bedroom was very plain and standard. The hotel lacks character, but I would still recommend it for the location, stunning views and delicious food.

I recently treated my mother and sister to a spa day at Cromleach Lodge. We received the back to bliss packages, we met with Celine and Ciara at reception and they were both fantastic and top notch beauty and therapeutic professionals. Both girls are credited to the establishment and we can't wait to go back !

This is a large destination hotel situated on the hillside above Loch Arrow (Arbhach), which caters extensively to an older, wealthy clientele. The Frank Sinatra soundtrack completes the retro vibe. Our room was fabulous: large, warm, well-laid out and with a fantastic view of the lake. Dinner very good, with generous portions, although a bit pricey. The owner provided very good walking recommendations. The breakfast was a buffet rather than freshly cooked, with the usual drawbacks, i.e. dried out bacon, mass-produced scrambled eggs, and lukewarm tea. However, you also can order a cooked breakfast from the kitchen if you ask for anything other than scrambled eggs. The other drawback is that you can order a light evening meal from the bar menu if you're not too hungry. However, it's served in the dining room, and the service is sub-optimal as a result. Diners who are buying bottles of wine and 3-course meals are definitely favored; we weren't even offered dessert the one night we ate from the bar menu. We got a great rate on the hotel by booking online, mid-week.

Room Tip: The rooms overlooking the lake have gorgeous views.

I attended a wedding at Cromleach Lodge earlier this month, and I was very impressed overall.
On approach to the venue, the road is quite narrow and winding, but the scenery is very nice if you can take a minute to appreciate it.
Cromleach Lodge appears in the distance up on a hill and is very impressive as you drive in from the road.
Reception was very efficient and had our booking details readily at hand so there was no delay at all there and the girls were very welcoming and helpful in general.
We joined the wedding party in the bar, and although the decor and view was beautiful, the bar itself was quite small and dare I say understaffed for a wedding.
The function room was beautifully decorated and staff were very efficient once again.
The bar in the function room was very adequate for the event and was well staffed also.
The food was fabulous, and plentiful also.
Our room was lovely with a small balcony but it was quite a trek away from the reception area. It was evident that this venue had been extended a few times and although was finished to a very high standard, it did tend to sprawl so as to create the extra space required, which resulted in the extra walking time, but that was very minor so don't let that put you off!
Breakfast the next morning was very good, with a self service buffet.
Staff were very attentive and it wasn't long before we had pots of tea and coffee in front of us.
Checkout was a breeze as we had paid in advance.
In conclusion I would highly recommend that you at least visit Cromleach Lodge even for a meal or a coffee, as the view from the front windows alone is worth it.
I would gladly go back, and probably will.
