1 review I've been to Rudi's house twice and absolutely love it. It's unique and there's nothing else like it on Don Det. I love his use of the boats as part of the structure of the house. It's also located in a peaceful area away from the main strip on Don Det and close to the river. Martin the owner is very accommodating and has made the house really comfortable. There's an actual mattress and great kitchen/bathroom and cosy hammocks. Go there as it's heaven.

This place is pure class. For anyone who wants their own true slice of Paradise. Martin the owner is a very welcoming soul with a heap of character. This place is comfortable with all the ingredients you need for a great stay on Don Det.

Great place. The owner is Marty a German chap who is a lot of fun and cooks for his guests whilst drinking with you. His speciality is BBQ porcupine...yes porcupine usually from Cambodia - it is delicious. Don't miss this place!

SO Chraming, SO relaxing. Like no other place I've been. At Rudimental holiday lodge they redefine slowing things down. I stopped here for a few days with my husband and it turned into 2 weeks! From the scenery to the chill vibe along the Mykong, to Martain's special brand of hospitality, to the warm and layed back locals and their happy shakes it is absolutely rejuvenating. I can't wait to go back. I may never leave!

I stayed in the ''RudiMantalHouse" for 2 weeks with my friends and we just had a awesome time. This is the best place to stay on the island because the house is sitting in a little private jungle and it is always nice and cool in compare to the surroundings. You have space to move around in the property. A lot of places to chill out in a hammock. There is a proper self made BBQ what we used a lot of time's and a bonfire place. The Bathroom is quite luxury compare to what we seen on the island, western toilet and two options to have a shower. Wonderful! The house is full of nice surprise's for example: open the roof and sleep under the stars...but explore yourself!

i stayed at Martins place for about 4 weeks... the place is an absolute treat! whatever your intentions are coming to Don Det, at martins you are taking control of what impression Don Det leaves you with. Detach from
the busy tourist hotspot the north of the island is and kick back doing whatever you feel like in your own pace.
there's a decent shower and toilet block that blends nicely into nature as well as a kitchen area. The house, balcony, and endless chill out areas are are built to great standards. and only when lying in one of the hammocks you get to fully appreciate how much work and attention to detail went into the place.
i had the best sleep of my life on his balkony, seeing those big lush trees waving with the evening breeze, taking in the scenery and sounds. it's mesmerizingly pretty and sets you up for an amazing night!
martin himself is a loving and caring personality that goes the extra mile for you without asking any questions
the proximity to the last resort(check out the TA reviewes!!!) is another positive factor... overall i can't recommend it any higher... pearl of south east asia this!! the serenity :-)
