Menu on the website would give the illusion of a gastro pub. Quite the opposite as served a mediocre roast with a mediocre desert. Toby carvery better but it seems to have a faithful following as people were being turned away. Booking appears to be required to avoid disappointment.

We thought we would have a nice afternoon out, and decided to go to the Quart Pot on recommendation. What a poor decision that was...We had even booked a table. We found our table! as nobody was around to show us...A waiter came to clean the table with a dirty cloth and just wiped the centre of the table! not a word was said from him. We were studying the menu and decided what we wanted....still no member of staff spoke to us. After waiting for 20 mins i thought I would go to the bar to see what is going on. Managed to attract a member of staff who informed me that we have to order at the bar!! Not once on entering the place were we told to place our order at the bar, nothing mentioned on their menu, no sign in pub to say order at bar. Disgraceful attitude, and no eye contact, eventually a half hearted apology, by that time fed up and just wanted to leave....Please management of the Quart Pot employ staff who will actually talk to customers and explain your procedures. Will not be going back

Lovely place for the family and friends to get together. I have been here for a big family meal last Fathers day which was brilliant. Also been here to meet friends and sat in the lovely beer garden along with our small children who had a lovely time running around on the grass. I'm also going to be booking up to try the Afternoon Tea which i have just discovered they do here! :)
