Great pub to meet everyone but you have to wait ages to be served especially when functions have been on in the Garden area...More staff required

Excellent value for money Monday has 50% off food all day and special offers in the week. Just a problem exiting on to the busy Runwell Road.

I used to be proud to call this my local but can't help but think it is going down hill fast.

Prices for a drink have been creeping up and now paying London prices.

I don't mind that, but when the pint is consistently flat it is frustrating.

Avoid the Estrella, a pint of Peroni is £4.80.

There is a Thomas Kemble up the road which has a similar atmosphere, better pint at a much cheaper cost.

Have eaten here a few times and the food is always well cooked and good value. Particularly liked the lasagne. Good selection of drinks available. Never had to wait to long for food to arrive after ordering at bar. Good pub atmosphere.

Menu on the website would give the illusion of a gastro pub. Quite the opposite as served a mediocre roast with a mediocre desert. Toby carvery better but it seems to have a faithful following as people were being turned away. Booking appears to be required to avoid disappointment.
