My parents and I stayed at Korzkiew for only one night, but it was a night to remember. From the moment we arrived in the afternoon to our departure the next morning, everything was perfect. Our room was wonderfully spacious and tastefully decorated in a classic touch. The castle was a joy to explore and every inch of it was up-kept and beautiful, from the exterior courtyard to the common rooms.
Dinner was served to us in our room and was huge and delicious. The morning continental breakfast had a great variety of options as well. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. As this place only has 4 rooms at present time, you really feel like you are in a little castle all to yourself. The owner has done a fantastic job of bringing this ruin to life, and we will most definitely be returning to Korzkiew, for more than a day next time!
Korzkiew also has the added advantage of being located close to a lot of major attractions, be it Krakow, Wieliczka Salt Mine, or Piaskowa Skala. It's a great place to stay and my family and I recommend it to everyone!

This was one of best stays that my family enjoyed in any hotel around world. First of all they have proper size family room, where all of us could stay comfortably. Views are just beautiful and castle itself is a proper medieval castle. Rooms are made in character and are very spacious and friendly. Note that this is true historic site, and has no lift or swimming pool. However what really sets this place apart is service, which is top quality. We arrived late night with kids and there was room waiting for us, also we were server some hot tea. Breakfast in the morning was very good and again we felt that staff really takes care of us. Make sure to ask to see castle around and you will truly enjoy your stay. Castle is very close to Cracow, so there is a lot to be accessed. We will be coming back.

Room Tip: Every room is different, but chambers are really beautiful.

Built in the 1500's,it had fallen into ruin and was purchased by an architect (who heads a group with this and other boutique hotels in the Krakow area.) Lovingly restored but with modern convenmiences (save an elevator - this is not for the physically challenged.) Not for a base to see the old city (see the Grodek Hotel - also part of this group.) We booked the tower, a two level suite literally at the top of the tower. The castle, the room(s)... we were the Lord and Lady of the Manor. We booked the romance package, which included a three course candlelight dinner, with wine, served in our room. No restaurant here, the hotel brought in a caterer who, along with a hotel staffer, carried the three wonderful courses up, one at a time, to our suite. We were the only guests n the hotel and again in the morning a caterer to lay out a buffet that would feed twelve, with offers of eggs, omeletes etc. Book directly with the hotel, use your GPS, and, yes, the castle IS at the top of that single lane dirt road. A perfect location for your first or last night in Krakow. The whole package was less than a hotel room in an US city - and I don't mean the Ritz Carlton.

Room Tip: Book with the hotel through their website, do stay in the tower and book the romance package.

Our family of 8 stayed for one evening and it was perfect! The staff was so helpful, including Piotr who drove us to the restaurant so we wouldn't get lost to Anna (I believe I have the name correct) who took over later that evening. We had the entire castle to ourselves and it was so nice to enjoy the evening in the lounge with a bottle of wine. The breakfast the following morning was huge, more than we could all eat and very nice. Wonderful staff, beautiful castle!

Room Tip: Lots of stairs to the top floor, so be prepared not to carry a lot of luggage up!

What a fabulous find! We stayed in the upper tower (2 story suite) and had dinner catered to our room. One of the best stays we have experienced in our 2 week drive around Europe. It's peaceful and the staff couldn't be more gracious and welcoming. Breakfast was typically European but served with elegance. Here's a hint--don't attempt to carry up more than one fairly light bag! The stairs are circular and steep and NUMEROUS! Not for the faint of heart. There are no elevators...but of course no self respecting castle would want an elevator! A wonderful place!! We highly recommend it.

We chose this castle as our wedding venue and stayed for 1 night a month before the wedding. It is set in the national park in beautiful woodland. The rooms are so beautifully decorated keeping in line with the dated look. The whole place is spotless and beautifully kept. The staff were beyond friendly and couldn't help us enough. We felt like excited children when being led to our room at the top of a tower. The place is so relaxed and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing break.
We took a walk to a nearby restaurant Pod Lesie, which was also nice, but I wouldnt recommend the walk as we nearly got hit by cars coming around corners too fast, so beware!
The breakfast in the morning was delicious and of the best quality.
I cannot wait to return with my family and friends in a few weeks for my wedding.

Room Tip: The room at the top of the tower had a double bed, then some stairs up to another level which had an...

My boyfriend and I have just returned from four nights in Krakow and one night at Zamek Korzkiew. We both absolutely loved the castle. It is small but full of character! A truly unforgettable experience! We booked the Romantic Treat for Two package PLN650, where we were given the biggest room type and a three course dinner with wine served in our room. The food was so delicious! And the service was absolutely brilliant!
The castle is situated in the countryside so we went out for a very long walk and eventually ended up at 'Ojcow National Park'.
I would highly recommend this castle to anyone who is looking for a unique/special treat. It's well worth it!!
