We arrived at this hotel on the 6th march with great expectations at 2am. Absolutely exhausted we only wanted sleep. All we heard all night was the swimming pool pump and noisy air con units from other rooms We asked the following morning to be moved but was told there were no rooms available. We tried again the second night only to be told the next day exactly the same. After our second disgrace of a breakfast we called the rep to be moved to another hotel. He told us it would cost a lot more monies to be moved so we decided to do it ourselves. Within two minutes the receptionist told us another room was available. We moved but after 2 nights living amongst a shanty town with noisy kids playing football at 6am and climbing onto the balconies we checked out. That was the best thing we did as we had a brilliant 10 days elsewhere. Do not stay at this hotel its in dire need of a facelift, the breakfast was inedible and receptionists lie for some unknown reason.

Room Tip: We were in 19 and moved to 7

Just got back from a 2 week holiday at this hotel. We have been visiting Goa, on and off, for the past 10yrs and was getting tired with the hustle and bustle of Calangute/Candolim and Baga so decided to try Dona Paula for a change.
We knew that this was a quiet area and that there wouldnt be much to do but if you just want to relax and enjoy the Goan sunshine then this hotel is perfect.
We arrived at about 2:30am and was greeted by a very sleepy receptionist followed by a room boy and a barman with a refreshing wecome drink and then shown to our room. Our room was no.123,which was directly over the restaurant and at 7am the clatter of crockery and the sound of voices was all we could hear, not a good start after almost a full day of travelling. However, we mentioned this to the reception later that morning and they agreed to move us asap, which was 2 days later. We were moved to room 119, which was perfect. We have never had such a superb view from any other hotel we have stayed in in Goa. This room was a little bit more dated than the previous but the view more than made up for it. The rooms were cleaned daily and bedding replaced every few days.
The restaurant food was good, however, the prices in the menu were not what u paid, they added on tax and service charge which put another 20% on your bill and drinks were the same so it worked out quite a bit more expensive than if you ate outside.
There were a few restaurants in walking distance which were okay and worth a try. There is Maninos, which is a 30sec walk and his food is good and cheap, but do not uses the toilets, they are probably one of the worst you will ever see, ha ha, good job the hotel is so close. There is a Tast of Paradise which is about 3 mins walk and food and drink is good as well as the price. If you fancy going a bit further a field, try Peeps Kitchen, 15 - 20 mins walk or a taxi for very little. Food is very good and portions are huge so share if you can, definitely worth a visit. Last but not least to try is Panjim, 3kms away, you can get the bus for 10 rupees, a tuk tuk for 100 rupees or a taxi for 200 rupees, lots of restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and the municipal market, worth a visit.
Overall, quiet location, lovely hotel and staff, no eastern Europeans.

Room Tip: Rooms 121, 122, 123 are over the restaurant. Rooms 118 and 119 overlook the sea and small beach

We went there in monsoon of 2013. We spent three nights amid the serene locale off the ocean! Non-AC rooms were all sea-facing with a balcony over the mighty monsoon waves!! The small swimming pool was also enjoyable, so was the traditional food.

Room Tip: Non-AC rooms are better than the AC ones for sheer sea-facing location, and a bit away from the rest...

Returned today from 2 weeks at this hotel. Wonderful relaxed holiday. Staff very helpful, rooms absolutely fine and cleaned daily. Staff very helpful and pleasant. nothing to complain about,
For 12 rupees you can get a local bus to Paniji and wander the market or go to the bus station there and get another bus to Old Goa for 15 rupees. Or get the free ferry across the river in Panji and then get a bus to Calangute or Candolim. Or you can do trips with the reps or taxi drivers or laze by the pool taking regular dips to cool off. All in all I loved it.

I have satyed in this peaceful resort on a couple of ocassions, once with friends and another time withmy wife. Both the times I have enjoyed the relaxing ambience and the pleasant sorroundings ,a lot. The best thing is the location, where ,all day long, one can stare at the Arabian sea and hear it's waves. The resort itself is vast, with a lot of flora and a swimming pool, which are all well maintained. The food served in the restaurant is delicious ,but a little pricy.
The rooms are cosy, hygienic and well maintained. On both ocassions,I have teavelled to Goa in themonsoons, and hence ,I have found Pescador having very few guests, but I guess,in the peak season, itgets filled uppretty quickly.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms are sea facing, make sure you get one on the first floor,The day long experience fr...

Beautiful place, small beach, swimming pool, fantastic view, nice and clean rooms, good breakfast, very good services.
Recommended for both family trip or romantic stay.
Only minor issue we had was with the lack of hot water in the bathroom.

The resort has excellent location. Good infrastructure but the resort service is very bad. The complimentory breakfast is not good at all we had to order fr the breakfast. The rooms can be made more hyginic and clean the rooms were average. They are still using CRT TV which do not work. Overall it was not so good stay at the resort. Whatever good rating we can give is only for the resort location only...swimming pool was not clean.the staff r okok type....the beach was dirty....

Room Tip: beach facing r gud.....but don't go to this resort............
