If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place. The rural setting is beautiful. You walk out the front door to a majestic mountain view. When you come downstairs in the morning for breakfast there are free range sheep and deer on the house grounds easily seen from the windows. There are great places for walks with eagles flying over head.
We were there from 26 February-4 March. It is a great time to visit the Highlands and major sites like the Highlands Wildlife Park and Oban Seal Sanctuary are open as are. It is not crowded like in summer and many of the best places to eat in Oban, Fort William and Ballachualish.
On bad weather days there is plenty to do in the house - games, jigsaws, pool table, indoor pool, etc.
Please be aware that the ferry crossing is £8 each way. The only other alternative from the mainland is a 60-75 minute detour.

I went here with a Family group of 8. 6 Adults and my 2 kids. We stayed for 4 fun filled days and enjoyed the facilities at the house immensely. Plenty to see and do! We had a mixed bag with the weather but it never held us back at all. The pool area is the gem of the house with a large heated indoor pool and sauna area, that we used in the mornings to cure the night before and then again later in the day for more meaningful fun and games or light exercise! The games room was also a great spot to hang out. It's a large spacious room with a pool table and 2 good cues. It also had a football table and a couple of sofa for chillaxing on!
This house has everything you'll need [Except Internet] and boasts a fantastic layout so as everybody can either be together or separate doing their own thing without getting in each others way. We enjoyed the wood burning fire in the evenings, out of novelty as the house has radiators everywhere and is very cosy with or without.
Very friendly community and plenty of trails and hills for walking! Highly recommended, I would definitely book this house again!
Only Negatives were that there is a very bumpy road/track on arrival 'take it very slow' and there is no Internet/Wifi but not a big issue for me as there was plenty to see and do.
This house has everything, it is set in the most beautiful stunning countryside, the amenities - pool, games room etc we're exceptional. The owner Mr Cox was also really helpful when we were really in the schtuck.
The surrounding area is amazing but you need longer than a week ! It was one of the most amazing holidays we've had as a family and we would love to visit again.
