Nothing was too much for Diane and Martin, who seemed to be able to second guess your every need. It's a small B&B where all guests share the breakfast table and get to know each other, so if you're shy or want privacy it might not be for you. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable with large beds, excellent mattresses but leaving little extra space. This was not a problem for us. There were even tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Diane very kindly did some washing for us, which was more than we expected. It would have been preferable to have an ensuite bathroom, rather than trekking across the hall, which is why this doesn't get an 'excellent', but with the lovely continental breakfasts with home made bread and preserves, it comes pretty close.

Thank you for your kind comments. Bath robes are provided and the private bathrooms are very close. The Tasman Room, which has ensuite bathroom, was offered to these guests.

We stayed here over Labour weekend, and it was the highlight of our trip! The rooms are tasteful, clean, sunny and modern - Diane & Martin have obviously done a lot of travelling as they seem to know exactly what travellers need in their accommodation. Your room has tea and coffee making facilities, plus a fridge to keep your wine cold! You have your own tv, plus free access to wifi.

They are very knowledgeable hosts, and are happy to provide you with whatever information you need on sightseeing, make bookings, recommend restaurants, and even take you out on a fishing/sightseeing trip into the beautiful Abel Tasman. I would recommend that put visiting this area of New Zealand and staying with Diane & Martin at the top of your list!

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely - one has an ensuite and the other 2 each have their own bathroom

When I stayed with Diane and Martin two years ago I had such a great time that I returned this year to catch up and do all the things I didn’t get time to do last time. Martin took us out fishing in the Abel Tasman in his boat. We all enjoyed a beautiful lunch make by Diane and I caught my first Blue Cod! What excitement. We sailed past mother and baby seals sunning and playing on rocks, saw some amazing bird life and enjoyed our lunch on a pristine deserted beach.

This time we stayed in the king room with its private balcony and stunning view of the ocean. One morning Martin cooked mussels he collected from the beach – absolutely fresh and yummy!

I can highly recommend the Everton B & B – if it is to relax and unwind or if you feel like taking advantage of all the opportunities that this beautiful part of New Zealand offers.

Adele – Port Macquarie Australia

Room Tip: I loved the King Room - however all the rooms are very comfortable and have beautiful views.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Everton B&B along with my boyfriends mum and all three of us had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. We had a lovely warm welcome from Diane and were made to feel very at home ;) the house itself is beautiful and the rooms are excellent and have everything you need, they have literally thought of everything!
Diane helped book our trip and gave us great advise on what to see and do, this made everything so easy for us and made our stay even better!
Thanks to both of you ;)

We stayed with Diane and Martin at their B&B recently and had the most wonderful stay with them, we stayed in a king room with a view down to the beach, the room had a television, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and its own bathroom. The beach is only a very short walk away. Martin and Diane were able to offer us lots of ideas on things to do in the area, Martin even arranged for us to go out on their boat to explore the Abel Tasman National Park with morning tea and lunch provided. It was a great day. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Little Kaiteriteri is beautiful with golden beaches and its close proximity to the Abel Tasman National Park make it a must see destination while in New Zealand.

Everything about this B&B was lovely. Diane and Martin made us feel as if we were part of the family and took care of all our needs. We stayed in the king room, which I'd highly recommend as it's got a nice private balcony and a great view of the Tasman. Diane took care of us booking all our transportation in and out of Tasman National Park and provided us with ample information about our stay, and Martin even went so far as to pick mussels off the beach which he cooked up for us later in the evening after our hike! They even had lemon and grapefruit growing in their backyard which they kindly let us pick!

Just a 5 minute walk to the the, and is the perfect location to venture in and out of Tasman National park as the boat services in and out of the park are about a 30 second drive or a 10 minute walk.

The only downside was we hit this B&B early in our trip and all our accomodations afterwards seemed sub-par in comparison! We're still telling all our friends about our stay as it was simply the best part of our trip!

We stayed in Kaiteriteri to walk part of the Abel Tasman track. Diane and Martin welcomed us into the family and organised our walk, not to mention several other parts of our holiday.
The whole experience was fantastic.
