We stayed at this cottage for 4 nights in April, this is definitely not 4 Star cottage. The kitchen cupboards were dirty inside and we had to wash pots, pans and cutlery before we could use them. Cooker needed a good clean as well. Floors were dirty and I found a toe/finger nail behind the kitchen door also the kitchen bin had beer cans inside from the previous tenant one presumes.

Upstairs bathrooms were very dated, the sealant around the shower was black from mildew and could do with replacing. Walls were dirty and lots of cobwebs everywhere.
Bedrooms clean but mattress on beds are not of good quality and we needed to put 2 together on one bed to make it comfortable.
The original arrangement was to be greeted by the owner, close to arriving at property we had a call saying she had another appointment and never had any further contact.
This is not what we expected. We would not recommend staying in this cottage.

This apartment is one of about six in a modern barn conversion, on a working farm, about 3 miles from Stratford upon Avon. The apartment was well equipped, clean, pleasantly decorated and spacious. It was slightly let down by the grounds which are surfaced with gravel or grass and look a bit basic. But that may be of little concern to most people using the accommodation as a touring base, for which it is well suited.

I have organised get-togethers for a big group of friends over the last 3 years at Weston Sands; it is ideal for these occasions, with adjoining houses available for extra flexibility on numbers. It cannot be beaten for a central location, value-for-money with great facilities and close to lovely villages with some great pubs. Stratford is only a 10 minute drive away.
