All the staff was very friendly and very helpful, but Alex stood out even more. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the area (especially Area 51) 😀. Would not have gone to Salisbury Cathedral had it not been at his recommendation. So glad we did. If ever in the area again will definitely stay there. Great night on their deck and our room was very nice. Highly recommend !!!!!!!

Room tip: Ask for room on the side or in back. Noise from highway could be an issue during heavy traffic times of day. Quiet at night.

Wonderful one night stay at the hotel. The staff were accommodating, and bought us extra towels. Massive beds! The food was absolutely delicious too and the chef even offered to make me something off the menu.

We were in room 108, which is on the ground floor. The room size was good, as was the bathroom. However it was noisy with the sound of banging doors due to its proximity to a connecting staircase. The photos show some maintenance issues which have been reported at checkout.

We used the restaurant , which had the grill not working so the menu was limited to dishes which did not require grilling. That about halved the menu choices. The grill had been out before our stay, so it wasn’t a few hours but in fact some days before it was operational.

It was very understaffed. But the staff tried their best. You will have to allow plenty of time if you intend to use the restaurant or bar.

Dear 408hazel,

Thank you for your constructive feedback and please accept my apologies that your stay was not to the level we strive for on this occasion.

We have installed door guards on the corridors to stop their banging in the night and have implemented a new menu with specials available.

I hope that this experience would not deter you from staying with us in the future when next in the area.

kind regards

We stayed here for 1 night. The room was a good size and we were happy with the size of bed and the shower room was nice. Our rating is low due to the service we received and the restaurant food.

The food is ridiculously overpriced and we ordered a pizza which was £16 and it was a frozen Chicago town pizza from Tesco for £3 which they put some rocket on. They also brought out the wrong pizza but we did not want to wait another 30 mins for the right one so we ate it. (No apology from staff)

Then the waitress disappeared for 30 mins so the restaurant was unmanned and many guests had to get up to try and find someone. Everyone asking eachother 'have you seen the waitress?' we skipped breakfast as didn't want to return there.
Some serious work needs doing in their restaurant. If you stay here, eat elsewhere!!

One night stop over on coach trip. Staff friendly helpful and courteous, room small but adequate, bed huge and comfortable with white cotton bedding. Standard evening meal enjoyable, breakfast absolutely superb with every choice from fresh fruit, cereal and cooked breakfast. Wonderful warm croissant choice. Overall we were impressed.
