“Perfect for an off-roading weekend”
Reviewed 29 January 2013

Lovely B&B with well-presented rooms, lovely views and friendly owners. We stayed here whilst going green-laning on Salisbury plain and the local knowledge of the owners was very helpful for knowing what lanes were open and how best to have a safe and successful trip. There was plenty of safe, secure parking space. The food was also lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed on the 13th and 14th December and were absolutely delighted by Woodgate Farmhouse and the impeccable attention to detail on the part of the hosts. The bedroom and en-suite bathroom were far better than we have come to expect at most "luxury" hotels let alone b&bs. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped and the host and hostess could not have been more welcoming and helpful to us.

All you could wish for in a B&B. A warm welcome, with Jenny providing just baked, yummy, scones (with jam and cream). Lovely rooms in a beautiful home set in a very peaceful yet ideal location for sightseeing. Delicious breakfasts and very hospitable, helpful hosts. We loved it and would recommend it as a first class B&B. Thank you Jenny and Martin.

This B&B is by far the best value, offers the best service and provides rooms too die for. The en suite rooms are large, well equipped (including a real fridge), and the en suite includes a large bath and separate shower.
From the moment we arrived it was excellent, we were served warm scones and tea/coffee and greeted enthusiastically by Jenny. The breakfast offered variety including a choice of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Fresh fruit salad was available every morning along with cereals and yoghurts.
The location although not in central Salisbury was very close for commuting yet rural and quiet. In addition to the restaurants on offer in Salisbury, several villages surrounded the B&B farmhouse and each offered pubs with good meals and hospitality.
For sightseeing this is a great location with many National Trust and English Heritage properties within an easy commute.
Thank you Jenny and Martin for our excellent four night visit in May 2012.

Jenny and Martin are great hosts and go out of their way to make your stay relaxing and easy. They are helpful with local information and recommendations.
Rooms are first class with superior bathrooms.
Breakfast has the option of full cooked English again cooked to your liking.
I can only recommend this as perhaps the best B&B I have stayed at.
You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: There are three rooms, all to the same high standard and all face out to the countryside with great...

Arriving in UK at the first day of HM Diamond Jubilee the Salisbury Tourist Office recommended this B&B, and it was really an excellent recommendation. A very friendly welcome from Jenny with tea and cake, a beautiful surrounding, a nice and spacious room with a exceptional bathroom, and an excellent as well healthy breakfast gave me two nice days in the Salisbury region. I can recommend this place without any exceptions. Thank you for the warm welcome.

I can't express how wonderful our stay here was! Martin welcomed us warmly into their home, let us choose which of the two rooms we preferred (as the other was not booked) and we sauntered out to the stables to meet Jenny and the horses while he made a fresh cup of coffee for us. They visited with us briefly, offered some suggestions as to what we could do in the area, and then retreated quietly to their section of the house. Fluffy towels, exquisite bed and bedding, homemade bath bombs, natural soaps and lotions, heated towel racks, impeccable decor, and absolutely breathtaking scenery... the list goes on. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with much of what they offered being organic and local (eggs from their own chickens!)
This one night stay was by far the best of our 3 week trip, and the reviews tell the perfect story. Not a single detail was missed, not a single need unaddressed. Thank you Jenny and Martin, we will be back!

Room Tip: Both rooms are amazing. The red room is bigger, the green room has a larger bathroom. You can't...
