Hindu temple is Located in the Himalaya's mountain in state of Uttarakhand,India at the height of 3110 meters, surround by markets ,hotels, and restaurants.Million of people visit this place every year between 15th April to 1st week of Nov.There is hot sulfur spring water inside the temple complex where people take bath before get inside the temple for worship. The scenic beauty of this place is assume and river Alaknanda passes near the temple, the mobile phone network is very poor here and hotels charge higher price from the tourist in season, better to avoid visit 20th May to 12th June for huge rush,as we faced trouble with family visited on 4th June for traffic jam too, keep in mind to carry woolen cloth round the year.Photography is strictly prohibited inside the temple

We took helicopter from Kedarnath to Badrinath which took 40 minutes. The journey was very scenic and breathtaking. From helipad it took 30 minutes to reach temple.Near the temple very narrow roads and very little parking place. The temple was too crowded.2 km long que.We got special darshan as we had helicopter ride. The question and darshan very badly organized. They should learn from Tirupathy temple as to how to handle pilgrims.Temple is very Nice.
Inside temple huge rush and no proper que.All prasada spilled on the ground made it risky and dirty. The idol of Badrinath and Kubera is very nice.Donot miss Laxmi and Garuda idols.Naranarayana and Garuda statue are very beautiful.

If you are bit relegious(not much) u are definitely going to love the place. The journey from Joshimath to Badrinath temple is simply awsm. You will love the scenic beauty. Alaknanda river adds to the beauty of this place. It is Highly Recommended. Snow clapped Mountains and trekking from Mana Village can be taken towards Vasudhara Falls, Swargarohini. I would suggest its a must visit place.
