A very short walk to the ocean and within walking distance of a couple of restaurants. Perhaps the best feature is the memory foam beds which made for awesome sleeping. Very friendly and helpful folks. A little bit hard to find but that is mainly because Panama does not seem to believe in road signs :)

We stayed for two nights. We were greeted when we arrived and shown to our room by friendly and professional staff. The rooms were very nice, spacious, well maintained, clean, comfortable beds, A kitchenette with Mini fridge, microwave, utensils, and lovely bathroom. The property is right on the beach. The hotel was a great place to stay for us as we visited Coiba, visited the beaches, explored the town, and enjoyed very good food within walking distance to the hotel.

The beds are super comfortable. The restaurant was awesome but it has since burnt down. Hopefully they re-build. There are many other great restaurants with-in walking distance. The beach is also a short walk away. My only complaint is that the water pressure is low in the shower.
Great place. We've stayed here twice.

Beach front, nice and individual accommodations. The rates includes surfboards and kayak. There you will find cable tv, wifi and frigobar in the room.
A perfect place to surfers, family or couples that want to visit or dive in coiba! A definetely a great value for money.

The room was really nice and confortable. Minifridge, hot water, quiet air conditionning, confortable clean bed, etc.
You can borrow bikes or boards for free.
Service though was a bit lacking. Reception is under construction, so when you arrive it is hard to know that room 5 is now the reception.
Wifi internet was a bit slow and inconsistent.
Although the room was super nice, i think the price is a bit high for Panama considering there is no breakfast included

We stay for 2 nights. The room was very spacious and clean. It is a quiet place with a little beach to sit and watch surfers.
Private bathroom with hot water. King bed and bunk-beds. Mini frig and sattelite tv. After a day in the water this is a perfect place to rest. You are not too far from the village but there is bikes you can use.
The restaurant was in construction so we didn't know how to have breakfast. But we were not bothered by the workers.
There is a binder in the room with some good tips about the place.

On our latest trip to Panama we stayed for three nights in Hotel Santa Catalina. We’ve had a fantastic time: a beautiful room with TV, refrigerator, air conditioning, lockers and very comfortable beds with memory foam. There is free Wi-Fi Internet, a hammock, free use of bicycles, surfboards and kayaks. The rustic hotel has a beautiful garden with an entrance to the sea. It’s only 10 minutes walking from El Estero beach, where they have the best waves and a nice beach. Shenida, the manager, and her staff do their utmost best to make your stay unforgettable. If you need advice where to go or where to eat, they can help you. The tropical hotel is built from natural and sustainable materials and is at walking distance from the center of the fishing village with its cozy restaurants. From here you can make a boat trip to Isla Coiba (UNESCO World heritage Site). If you’re lucky you can see dolphins, whales, manta rays, turtles, monkeys, sharks and even an alligator. During our two-week stay in Panama this was the best hotel and we highly recommend it.
Thanks Shenida and John.

Room Tip: There are rooms with a kitchenette.
