I wish you'd all stop going on about how nice it is - it was hard to find a room to book for next year and I couldn't risk waiting for a last minute deal so have booked for May!
Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed my week here. Although Alykes was virtually closed while we were there from 13 - 27 October there was more than enough left open for a quiet and relaxing break. The weather was near perfect, the people whether Greek or ex-pat were friendly and helpful and I have no criticism at all (except for the mosquitoes - and there weren't many, I just react badly). Beach House is great - clean, comfortable, right on the beach, nothing to disturb you but the sound of the sea. The island was much, much nicer than I expected though I suspect in mid-August it might be very different. Owners are helpful, cleaners go above and beyond what they need to do, Virago bar is just right.
