Having chosen the Panorama based on glowing reviews I can honestly say that they were not exaggerated!
The one aspect that separates the Panorama from anywhere else I have stayed (and potentially ever will stay) is the relationship established and extended by Mavera, Nikki and the rest of the family. We were made to feel like family; nothing was too much trouble and there was a feeling of genuine kindness and friendship.
In terms of facilities - everything we needed was catered for. In the apartment, all amenities were available (kettle, toaster, electric hob, ridiculously effective fridge/freezer etc), the bed was freshly made every day and was extremely comfortable. All throughout the room and hotel was spotless - cleanliness is an obvious priority.
The menus available in the restaurant/bar were selective and the fresh, home-cooked food was of an extremely high quality.
One of the main highlights of the entire trip was Greek night. I'm not going to give too much away, but it is a MUST see event and well worth the 10€ supplement. All I will say is - make sure you join in!
To conclude, this is without a doubt one of, if not the best holiday I have ever been on. The main reason being the personal and friendly service extended by the entire family.
If travelling to Zante, you would be amiss to stay anywhere else.

We've just returned from staying in the Panorama Studios and apartments .. We were made very welcome and Mavra .. Nicki and the rest of the family who run the Panorama work very hard .. We stayed in a studio which was cleaned daily and clean bedding and towels regularly changed .. The room was spacious for 2 adults and a 6 year old .. We spent 9 days out of our 14 around the pool .. Our 6 year old enjoyed the pool .. And playing in the children's play area in the evening .. We had around a 10 min walk to the shops and restaurants or took a horse and carriage rude home .. We will be retuning next year around hopefully the same time ... Super holiday lovely people and a beautiful island ..

2nd year at the Panorama for a brilliant 2 weeks of relaxation. Been to Rhodes, Crete, Corfu...but Alykes & Zante are still my favourite....you won't be disappointed.

Apts/studios - very clean (maids come in daily), well equipped (towels etc) & comfortable with a good sized balcony. Air con a must in August (34 degrees & 29 on a night).
Bar - food lovely, service excellent, music & evening entertainment just right, Greek night good fun & excellent value.
Pool - clean, always sun beds available.

Beach - gorgeous, 5/10 min walk, sea crystal clear with tiny fish, great for kids. Go early for a sun bed €5 for 2 (or find Kev in front of Bucca & reserve the night before!) Watersports - jet skis, ringos, paragliding (bit pricey @€45) near the bridge.

Things to do - shipwreck (snorkel a must for any boat trips), turtle island (small boat best), horse riding with Yanis - 3hr trek to swim in the sea bareback-fantastic. Lucky Luke's riding - 1hr trotting in the sea. Both brilliant & cater for non riders too. Water park at Tsilivi good fun for half day (Dennis will take you)

Places to eat - lots of choice, liked Relax, or venture to Alykanas for more choice - Vagis, Indian/Chinese, Carretta. Best restaurant was Paradisiako, no more expensive than anywhere else but need to book. Bucca bar on beach for ice cream & cakes! Alykes is quieter than Alykanas but they are close by, making it the perfect resort for a family holiday. Just don't forget mosquito repellent.

As all the other reviews....Mavra, Nicky & family can't do enough for you & that's why so many return year after year.....thank you for another great holiday at the Panorama :) will try & return soon, Claire, Mike, Abbie & friends, Leeds

Just returned from Panorama Studio's, What a lovely place for a family holiday there so friendly with you on first name terms from the start of the holiday. Mavra NIcky and Dennis are so helpful. The Greek night was really good well worth 10 euro's.
It's very close to bars and restaurants and if you don't feel like walking get a horse and cart which is very good fun. Must stay onething I'm used to setting my alarm clock on holiday for a sunbed but you don't have to here at all lay in your on holiday...

Thank you so much

We are just one of the many families who return to Panorama Studios year after year. Each year they make improvements which astounds us as we always say how can the owners improve on perfection but they some how manage to do so. The family and staff they employ are all fantastic. The rooms are cleaned daily, towels and beds changed more often they we would at home!! The Greek night never fails to impress. The homemade evening meals are superb. There is nightly entertainment including karaoke, quiz night, bingo and pool competitions which is always a good laugh for all ages. Each year we leave saying goodbye to new and old friends and Dennis, Mavra, Niki, Dennis, Evie, Makis and Goofy the dog who we think of as our Greek family. See you next year Sara, Martin, Sam & Ollie
