“Good family interest”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

We had a super trip with skipper Luke. He took us around New Quay harbour bay to inspect the traps monitoring sea creatures caught. We saw Spider crabs, which look scary, but can't support their own weight out of water. No one else on board apart from Daddy would hold the scary looking crab. The lobsters are an amazing deep blue colour and have an escape jerk action, which Luke showed us. We then continued on towards the headland of Cardigan Bay, into some exciting waves causing spray to come over the bow. Luke then turned us around to head back to harbour riding back on the waves was much easier going. On the return journey Luke let the children steer the boat part of the way back. An enjoyable trip was had by all.

“Superb trip”
Reviewed 26 November 2013

Our trip was superb. It wasn't just a trip up the coast looking for Dolphins it was an whole education. Luke was an excellent guide. We pulled up lobster pots full of all different fish and crabs and he was able to give so much information about every one. He also had a great knowledge about all the differnet birds. The boat was only small but it made it all the more intimate. This was our second trip and we would definately go again.

“Superb 2 hour sea trip”
Reviewed 24 November 2013

Our trip with Seamor was amazing. There were just 3 couples on board plus the skipper whose knowledge was brilliant ( a marine biologist! ). The sea was calm and the weather was lovely and warm so the whole excursion was a pure delight. We saw and learnt lots.... it was a perfect way to spend a rare afternoon off for us.
We would certainly recommend Seamor to anyone wanting more than just a boat trip ...excellent service all round.

“Sunset trip”
Reviewed 23 November 2013

We had a trip with Seamor and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting New Quay,it was a small boat which held 12 people which made it more enjoyable as there was lots of space, the crew were very knowledgeable and really pleasant and answered all our questions,we pulled in lobster pots and looked at spider crabs and a small Dog fish.
As we sailed in the bay we were very lucky as we saw lots of dolphins which were swimming in our wake and at the side of the boat,it was tots amaz !!!
In the last hour the sun went down and was the most spectacular thing we have every seen .
The best holiday trip EVER!!! Thankyou Luke at Seamor Tours.

“So good they must be dolphin it on porpoise.”
Reviewed 23 November 2013

We went to New Quay in late September and Seamor were simply amazing. We booked our trip with them. Absolutely no fuss all very straightforward. We were so lucky as we found ourselves in a pod of hunting dolphins with 2 baby dolphins not more than a week old. We know their ages because the skipper who is a marine biologist knew his stuff and told us how they could be aged.

The dolphins fully breached the surface as they chased fish out of the water. Everyone on board including the skipper were blown away by the experience.

Aside from our incredible luck the journey was made better by the skippers knowledge of the bay and it's wildlife. We looked in lobster pots and saw different types of crabs and a prawn. We had 4 kids under 4 years old and all of them were completely engaged by the experience.

We also got to see a couple of seals including a new born seal pup.

Worth every penny. The difference between Seamor and the other dolphin spotting trips is that they really know their stuff about what you are seeing. If we were in New Quay again we would not hesitate to go with Seamor.
