We have taken this trip a couple of time and both were simply stunning. The sea is a beautiful shade, almost Caribbean, the high cliffs with the nesting seabirds are majestic, and seeing seals and dolphins is always a treat. If you are within an hour or so of New Quay at any time it is well worth a visit. Parking is £3 per day (June 2014) and if you arrive early (before 8:30am) there is a very small car park opposite the main one with fantastic views over the bay where you can sit behind the car and take in the view. If you don't want to take a boat trip you can watch the dolphins from the car park or from the harbour wall.

This was a lovely trip, not too pricey, dog and child friendly and beautiful scenery. Sadly, we didn't see dolphins but it was great all the same.
The commentary from the man with the lovely storyteller voice was brilliant and very informative.
