A last minute break before the schools broke up, with two teenagers. Not a lot to do, but they enjoyed a bit of regression by going crabbing and eating lots of delicious Hockings ice cream.
The cottage was in a wonderful location, overlooking the water, but parking is in the public car park about 100 yards away .£ 3 a day or £ 16 for the week. A bit of a nuisance loading & unloading the car, but ok if you're prepared.
House small, quirky & delightful. Plenty of room for 4, but if you want a night round the telly, bring binoculars...Don't think I've ever seen such a small tv...
Internet connection good, just make sure you get the code sorted as soon as you arrive. The area is dog friendly and our beardie had a whale of a time. Local people also very friendly.
We had a lovely holiday and look forward to a return visit.
