Having seen the reviews we visited for the first time one Thursday evening. A warm atmosphere greeted us as did the staff. Very friendly with good food and range of beers. Our food order was taken and efficiently served by a delightful young lass by the name of Amy. This pub is difficult to fault.

Refurbished village pub in a modern retro style in the village of Beckington..
Dog friendly pub with smiling barman on arrival. Great beer and service.
Food piping hot and served by a friendly waitress. Willing to help. Great service throughout.
Would visit again.

Found this pub thanks to previous trip advisor reviews. Would never have found it otherwise due to its tucked away location. It is well worth taking the trouble to find it. The traditional exterior gives no clue to the well fitted contemporary interior. We were made to feel very welcome by the staff and enjoyed a lovely meal. Portion sizes were good and the food well cooked and presented all at a reasonable price.

We booked a table well in advance for 23 people to have Sunday lunch at this pub. The staff were very friendly, the beer was really good but a Sunday roast without yorkshire pudding is totally unacceptable. Lots of excuses made by the manager/owner about only one chef only on at the moment - the yorkshires got burnt etc.

The meals were not that cheap either.

We all agreed as a protest to spend loads of money at another drinks venue. Their loss.

Visited Forresters Arms again with friends and everyone was impressed with the quality of food, beer & wine. Not the cheapest meal out, but certainly we were all very pleased with our choices, the pork in garlic sauce was excellent, good starters and lovely cheescake to follow. Shall be back.
