Description: In our restaurant we cook only what our sea offers. We are the chefs and all dishes are freshly prepared.Fresh fish is expensive, so please check the prices and judge the overall quality as we bring the fish directly to your table. The menu that we propose includes all our specialties, but due to lack of availability of fresh fish, daily may be missing some varities. Our goal is to make you eat good and drink better, so enjoy your meal!

“essen gut aber klein, service... hm...”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

unfortunately the service was really not the best... they have higher prices and play the chic-resto-thing, but the service cannot hold up to that. I am also not sure, if we were treated in a different way because we were tourists (which spoke only italian, though)... because in the time we had 2 courses the table next to us had 4... we actually never made it to a dessert because after two courses in 2 hours it got kinda too late. I also had to wait very long for the bill.
the food was nice, but quiet small portions in relation to the price...
the wines though represent good value for money...

“Best restaurant in the region for fish!”
Reviewed 6 August 2013 via mobile

Found this place on tripadvisor and had dinner twice. Also went on the fishing trip with them at 5 AM which was a real experience. We can only say this family knows how to catch and serve an excellent meal! Certainly will go back here next time.

“THE place to eat fish”
Reviewed 31 July 2013

The restaurant has a long standing familly tradition and run by two bothers Roberto and Giacomo and from time to time helped by their third brother. They are actually fishing every single morning and what you eat is fresh from the day. There is only fish and seafood here, so if you re expecting spaghetti al ragu that might not be your place :-)
Antipasti are really worth as you really eat depending on the season very original combinations of raw fish and slighly cooked seafood. Pasta is of course part of it: I usually take alle vongole with bottarga... simple but a must . Then comes the fish that you will choose yourself and the way it's being cooked ... they will advise you the best way .
last but not least , there are plenty of nice dessert , but the combinations of sorbets are just great
Large choice of wines , all what you need is there . And of course impeccable service !!
bon appetit

“very good restaurant”
Reviewed 26 February 2013

I have been there on last sunday.
I am not sure but they changed chef (the "great" Rosario) but, definitely, kitchen is always on the top.
This restaurant, family run, is one of the best restaurant you can find along the cost and, if you like seafood, you can trust in El Faro to be perfectly deserved.

Along the period of the year you can find local fresh fishes such as RAGNO, POLPO, OMBRINA or (i tried last time) TRACINA.
Ask for Roberto (one of the owner) and enjoy the food!
