Arriving late at Marco Polo Airport, the shuttle pickup from hotel was OK. At the hotel we got a big room for the four of us. And breakfast had for us a nice surprice, better than in most hotels: they had an assortment of Gluten-free products which more than fullfil our expectations. Nice people at reception.

Room Tip: Room for 4 people are very big. Nice when you have teenagers.

My wife and I chose the Titian Inn because it is close to the airport. We like to be near the airport of our departure to make sure we are not at the mercy of transportation problems and can walk to the airport if we must.
We also like to have a bathtub at the end of a trip, so another reason we chose the Titian Inn over other nearby hotels was the promise of a bathtub. The hotel sent an e-mail that included this sentence: "We will take good care of you and make sure you will have the bathtub in your room as per your request." Unfortunately, when we arrived at 2:30 in the afternoon, we were informed that a room with a bathtub was not possible. To make up for our disappointment, they gave us a small bottle of wine. We were too tired to look for another hotel, and may not have been able to find a room with a bathtub anyway. If they couldn't deliver, they should not have promised, but then we would have looked elsewhere. We felt taken advantage of.
The hotel is nice and clean and has a good breakfast. They have a van to take you to the airport which is less than five minutes away. The staff is friendly. Al Quadrante, a very nice restaurant, is a short walk away.
We stayed at the Titian Inn the night of April 11, 2014.

We stayed at the Titian Inn the night before a flight from Marco Polo AP
and were hopeful based on the TA reviews that the Titian Inn would fit our needs for a nice overnight stay before an early flight.
Unfortunately the hotel did not meet our expectations.
We were told at reception to park in the underground parking and use the elevator - unfortunately the door from the garage to the elevator was locked and we had to carry all our luggage around the building.
The family room was well below average. Looks like an old apartment modified to be a hotel room.
No carpets on floor, the room was cold with no option to turn on the heating system and the beds were not comfortable.
toilet water will keep on running noisily for about 15 minutes after every flushing.
Breakfast food quality was below average.

I would not recommend this hotel unless all you need are a few hours sleep before or after a flight.

This was the perfect choice for us as we had an early morning flight. We were pleasantly surprised that breakfast started at 4:30 AM. This is the only hotel that we've ever stayed at that offered this early breakfast option and we travel a lot. Very friendly and helpful staff. The shuttle was on time and only minutes away from the airport.
