This was quite a different French holiday for us compared to previous years. Whilst the golf and spa resort was very nice the surrounding area is quite urban and lacking in character (apart from Rennes itself of course). The house was fine and the pool a great asset, especially in the high temperatures we experienced. A welcome pack would be a very useful addition - places to go, where to find things (eg tennis court key, recycling/rubbish instructions, etc). Whilst bed linen was provided there were no covers for the quilts which seems a little unhygienic - fortunately the temperatures meant we didn't have to use them! These are really small criticisms/suggestions and easily remedied and our overall experience was very good.
We had a great time staying in this wonderful house. Our party comprised two couples and two children, so four bedrooms worked well. It's a very spacious house, so it didn't feel like we were on top of each other. We didn't use the upstairs area - but we didn't need to. Everything we needed was on the ground floor. This means it works well for those with restricted mobility. Having said that, watch out for a couple of loose bits of decking near a flower bed - it can cause you to wobble a bit. The furnishings are very beautiful, with lots of Arabic and Eastern influence, gathered from the owners travels around the world. The kitchen is well kitted-out with everything you need. However, the main attraction for us was the fabulous swimming pool. It kept the children happy throughout the whole holiday. One of our party is a keen golfer, so a house on a golf course was ideal.
The owners are lovely and extremely accommodating. They were there when we arrived and showed us how things worked like the electric shutters, swimming pool cover and awning. It's worth asking them to show you how the hob works too. It's easy once you know... One tip, bed linen isn't included, so if you are not planning on taking your own, ask Jean Francois to supply this for you.
It's a great house. We plan to go back again!

Initial impression was that the house was great. We then discovered many things were worn out or broken. There was a problem with the drains and an awful smell, this was not resolved during our stay. We left after 6 days. The owner has not contacted us with an apology or refunded any money.
This is written the day after we returned wishing that we were still there. The house is spacious with excellent facilities and equipment for up to eight people.
We were a group of 6 spanning 3 generations aged from 20 to 76.
Particularly enjoyable is the open plan kitchen / dining area leading out onto the decking and pool. Electrically powered pool cover, awning and blinds made everything simple to use, the hardest work was lifting a glass or two !
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday and we are amazed that there aren't more excellent reviews which this holiday home truly deserves.
Finally thank you to Jean Paul and Guylene who we met briefly and who kept us advised in the time leading up to our stay.
