This refuge/restaurant is located at the end of the main slope in the Alba skiing region, a few hundred meters from the gondola station. It's easy to ski right up to a table, and then ski back to the nearby chairlift and continue your day - but the hard part is getting yourself to get up!
This place has a menu alike to most other restaurants and refuges you'll find in the dolomiti region, the difference is in taste and quality, and pricing. The prices were on the lower side, and we had some lasagne which was absolutely delicious - probably the best we had on that week. The desserts were also incredible - especially the huge tiramisu which I highly recommend. Only thing this place lacks is good beers, but that's also a problem that's prominent in the entire region.
All in all it's a place to eat and drink when you're skiing or hiking, there's an astounding view of the valley, and on a clear sunny day you simple won't want to leave. Worth stopping by!
