I hate giving bad reviews, but you need to be weary of this one.
First of all there was no electricity upon arrival in my apartment. The maintenance person was quick to appear. Out of 4 light fixtures in the kitchen floor (kitchen downstairs, bedroom and bathroom upstairs) only one had a light bulb and turning the switch on short circuited the whole apartment plus part of the neighbouring one(!). He was apologetic but asked me not to turn the kitchen light on again so as to avoid a blackout and, since it was the weekend, I had to live with it! So no use of kitchen, at night anyway. Additionally no outside lights worked for the whole complex and trying to make our way with no lights upon arrival from our outing at night was dangerous on the uneven cobblestones of the yard. Out of 2 light fixtures in the bedroom one actually worked and bathroom lights worked just fine (great, right?!)
TV had a whole A4 size posting pinned to the wall on how to make it work with its sat receiver. Needless to say, however hard I tried to follow instructions I only got static, so no tv either.
Do I need to mention that the advertised free wifi never worked for all in the complex? You get the picture.
It was February and the central heating was not working. The air condition did its best to compensate but after 5 hours, its noisy and dying efforts only managed to raise the inside temperature to 15 degrees Celsius (yes, I carry a thermometer with me), not a comfortable number.
I was pleasantly surprised to have hot water, even though if other apartments decided to use it at the same time its pressure dropped and you had to content with alternate hot and cold shots to your system.
Cleanliness was ok inside the apartment, but outside furniture could do with some dusting and bird dropping cleaning, but hey, with all the rest happening who would notice!
Design of the complex is very nice, great touches of old Cyprus architecture, tools and furniture, but owners need to respect their guests and keep this establishment in much better shape if they want people to return.
