This is one of our most compact yet fun-filled short getaway.
Thanks to the team who always promptly respond to my queries in WhatsApp, even before our arrival, we were already impressed by their 24hour WhatsApp service!
The place is really nice and scenic. Service is great from the team, particularly Agus, Ramat and the front desk team. The only thing that I don't like is that the Resort doesn't seem to provide any early check in. As a result, our baby has to miss a nap upon arrival.
Our Deluxe tent is great and comfortable for our group (3 adults, 1 boy and a toddler). For those who require a baby cot, please remember to request early. We particularly love the jacuzzi that is able to fit the 4 of us.
As the Deluxe tents are new and built on the outer ring, moving around the Resort would require a buggy. Travellers please take note that there are 2 types of buggies in the Resort. One for transporting guests between their tents and the lobby (breakfast starts at 6am but take note that buggy service only begins at 7am) while the other one trabsports guests between the lobby and the recreational centre (buggy to recreational centre starts at 9am). You may advise the driver to drop you anywhere along the route (e.g. for slip and slide, eater sports park, etc.).
For other activities, eg ATV rides (look out for Igal, he has been most helpful and took a lot of photographs for us during the off-road trip, even in the rain!), the buggy will drive you there once you made your payment.
At the recreational centre, there is a indoor playground at level 2. Since we are here for vitamin D, this is our last choice only when it rains.
For those with kids, the night is fun with the kids at the recreational centre. Do enjoy yourselves with the fireworks and the illuminated robotic kids rides.
Lastly, not to forget, do rent a scooter for at least half a day. There is a cutoff time for half day rental where you can return by 9am on the following day. Do make sure to check that your scooter is fully charged though. This is probably the only place where your 9yr old kid can ride a scooter around. It's also fun to squeeze everyone on it! Go and try!
Food is overpriced here (a plate of Mee Goreng costs around S$15 before tax) but we chose to dine in the Resort to enjoy the various activities. With a toddler with us, it's also a challenge as most local food stalls nearby the Resort do not offer baby chairs. For those who stay longer or prefer to experience local cuisine, there is transport provided by the Resort to a local food court nearby for S$10 return trip. Transport to other seafood restaurants are available too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3D2N trip as we had so much time family bonding, from the ATV rides to the 3pax kayaking.

We had a great time at Canopi.

In January, I traveled to Canopi with my 3 and 5 year old children. They love camping, so glamping sounded fun. The room was awesome and I couldn't believe how nice the shower/bathroom was...far from a camping experience.

The staff here is super friendly. The breakfast buffet was great. The meals in the restaurant were tasty.

My son wanted to play board games, because there was a sign on the wall of the restaurant saying there were some, but none were available.

My kids loved the lagoon and though the hotel was packed, no one seemed to be at the lagoon. I'm not sure where everyone went! But, canopi really should reconsider their setup by the lagoon. There is basically no shade.

Overall, we had a great time.

The tents are good and have everything one could need. The outside bathrooms are nice and comfortable. The big lagoon is great to swim in and all the activities around the lagoon means that the kids or adults don’t get bored. The only negative is that the food options at the resort is limited.

this is an awesome resort for families to stay in. the room is clean and spacious. other than a small hiccup that a mouse ran into our room. the lagoon is also clean and fun for my 3 kids (age 9,7 & 3) to play in.lots of activities for them. food variety is not much and prices are a bit pricey but overall still ok.
