This is a great little place to eat if you are looking for something cheap. It is very much a local hangout, but it is very busy. So I don't think you would have to worry about getting sick. I ate here for breakfast, lunch and dinner during my stay in Langkawi and didn't have a bad meal. The scene here changes depending on the time of day. There are about 10 different stalls serving different dishes in the morning and in the afternoon and evening it transforms into a Chinese seafood restaurant. The menu here is extensive so I'm sure you'll find something you like.
Just be wary that it says Lobster 20 rm/100 gm. This means 20 ringgit per 100 grams. They will bring you a whole lobster that is over 600 grams. So you are still ordering a $50 lobster even though you may think you are paying $7. I sadly made this mistake. So be careful.

Located near to Kuah Ambank, right at the traffic light junction where you can see coco valley. We have tried the Pan Mee and it was below expectation. For the dry pan mee and also the soup one. Wan Than Mee was ok, if you can accept sweet type of wan than mee. Wan than mee is at RM4.50. Consider slightly expensive if compare to Penang, where you can find it at around RM3-RM4. There is a stall selling Kuihs. Their Mangkuang Chai Kuey and Kuchai Kuey were average, or I should say below average. Environment was not bad. quite clean. Quite a variety of food if you want simple breakfast like Indian food, pan mee, Wan than mee, Hokkien mee and so on.

Variety of Chinese food at this place as this is a typical Chinese restaurant with many stalls. Tables can be full at lunch time. Be early or wait near the table to get the table once the customer leaves.

If you're visiting Langkawi then a visit to Kuah probably isn't high on your list of things to do. But, if you do decide to have a look then I'd recommend eating at this hawker centre. I've only eaten from the Chinese stall which serves chicken rice and pork rice, but it's been delicious every time, pork rice probably edging it as my favourite. The chilli sauce is beast! It's just over a quid for either, so will be one of the best value lunches you'll have.
