Loved this restaurant for both lunch and dinner. Great food, lovely staff and gorgeous setting! We ate both local and international food and every dish was great. The kids menu is good value and good quality too!

It's a beautiful place and the food was good if rather expensive, especially the desserts which although gorgeous were rather OTT on pricing, especially by Malaysian standards. The setting is lovely and we watched a family of otters playing in the lake. The staff are charming and very helpful and attentive but not in an overbearing way. Having quite a few dogs and cats around, as the owner runs a rescue centre too, may put some visitors off especially in a tropical climate where fleas thrive!! She does a fantastic job it has to be said in a place where animal welfare leaves a lot to be desired. It is, no doubt a beautiful spot and the food is great but expensive.

Came with high expectation following all the reviews about the place. It is a very nice place with very rustic and unique houses however to us its just that. The place lack warm hospitality (probably because we are locals). Encountered uneasy experience with one of the worker who was rather rude. I accidentally left a few stuff in the room after checking out and one of the staff asked whether it will be easier if i could come with him to the room and check the room again. Upon arriving i overheard conversations from the other staff commenting in local language about us; something along this line “only stay for a night but left stuff as if stay a lot longer” in a rude tone and that hurts. She probably thought it was non locals who stayed but then again it was really uncalled for

.And another thing that I dont fancy is that the breakfast could have been better, for the price that I paid. We paid for 3 person ended up with only 2 sets of minimal breakfast.

But overall experience were compensated with the joy it brought to my son playing with the cats

A nice relaxing place very attentive service and great food
As other reviews breakfast different but catering to many national tastes

If European toast and jam and tea and coffee suffice

Nice relaxing pool to cool down
Great bar on pond to watch the sunsets and egrets in there hundreds return to roost

Observed many birds including hornbills and golden oriels in grounds

Beautiful giant squirrel in fruit tree above restaurant

Asian water monitors and purple swamp heron have made home here

And if your lucky as we were a pair of otters visited pond one late afternoon

Overall we had a chilled 5 days taxi to strip only 15 ringits and 10 mins away

Recommended

Good place for a family hang out. Peaceful setting for a meal over seeing a pond. Must try the sambal belachan. Spicy and aromatic to the Asian palate. Price wise is on the high side. Then again, it’s Langkawi.
