The room is nice as it face the beach and there's a balcony with small table and two chairs plus we got to see the sunset if it isn't cloudy. It's fun to see guests walking from one end to the other, surfers ( trying to surf ), people playing jetskis. However, we do not feel welcomed by the staffs as they're so not friendly upon our arrival. I'm writing this based on our own experience. Warm welcome or greeting with smiles gives positive feeling for guests and makes good first impression but their hospitality is close to none. Seems like they're not interested in managing our check-in and it even takes quite a time for us to get our room EVEN THOUGH we have booked our rooms for more than THREE MONTHS EARLIER! This isn't what we should get for what we have paid. Their attitude gives bad first impression of course and the second one is after we check out our room. It's quite spacious but the floor is dusted with sands, mirror in bathroom almost fall off ( thankfully it didn't or else we have to pay for someone else fault ), tv channel is limited but hey, we're on a beautiful island waiting to be explored so that's okay. But, the thing that makes us feel angry is the fact that our balcony chairs are being used by some people and the staff/someone who is responsible didn't do anything about that. They're supposed to warn those people as it's their hotel thus their responsibility to ensure other guests comfortability and those people shouldn't be so rude to do that! The management should monitor or at least make sure their guests didn't disturb other guests peacefulness as we came here to relax so come on! Thankfully they're off this place the next day but still. Back to the room, there's a mini fridge, small cupboard and basic amenities. Bathroom is lack of space for toiletries and place to hang wet towel/clothes. This hotel is still undergoing a construction on building a new block/blocks so it gets a bit dusty and messy near guests rooms. It looks messy too at the reception/lobby. ( they should finish the construction works before opening their business as usual ) Breakfast is one thing, they have two restaurants ( not sure if both is owned by them ) that serve guests situated on the front street but there's not many choices of foods but we're okay with it. The staffs in one of the restaurants is friendlier and they make us feel welcomed. So that and the natural beauty of Langkawi make up our stays. Other than that, this property isn't as good as portrayed in their website/social media. They should improve all the flaws if they really are sincere in doing their jobs. With our experience, we'll be back but only for the island and maybe not for staying here.
