We stayed two nights with Sue and George in early July while the Tour de France was in Yorkshire. The Manor House is one of the nicest B&B’s we have stayed in. The house itself is quite large and guests have access to a comfortable library area and drawing room. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order with delicious hot entrees and served in a beautiful dining room. George and Sue are attentive hosts and were available to answer questions, provide restaurant recommendations, and give travel guidance for spectating the Tour de France. The village of Bedale is a short walk away and has all the facilities–ATMs, pubs, restaurants, and services. We recommend the Manor House unequivocally.
