It was a pleasure to stay in this little B&B in the charming village of Goathland. But it's only 'little' by way of its size (only one guest room) - it's BIG in hospitality, quality, value, breakfasts - and the welcome from the hosts! Pauline and Dennis go out of their way to make you feel at home and are very welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were lovely - the poached eggs were done to perfection! We stayed for four nights and will certainly be back. The cottage has a unique charm and we felt immediately at home as soon as we got there - it's also spotlessly clean with the heaviest and most comfy/cosy towelling robe I've ever seen or worn! Thanks for everything! Dave and Di Laverick

Pauline and Dennis are a very friendly couple and excellent hosts. We stayed with them for 3 nights in the middle of October and really enjoyed our time there, very nice room and superb breakfasts. Hope to visit again in the future and have no hesitation in recommending Mulgrave Cottage, definitely 10/10.

Please do not hesitate to book this charming cottage in the beautiful Goathland. Our room looked out to the main village street. The room was lovely, the breakfast was exceptional. Pauline and Dennis are genuinely wonderful hosts and after touring much of the UK on our motorbike over the years, we can honestly state that this cottage is up in the top 3 we have ever stayed in. Have a walk down to the 'Birch hall' inn at beck hole (only a mile down the road) for a unique pint! Mulgrave Cottage is outstanding value for money and we will be back!

Although as Americans we knew nothing about Goathland's television show connections, we couldn't have stumbled onto a better place to stay. The location is beautiful; the owners friendly and helpful, the accommodation clean and comfortable; breakfast delicious. We'd love to go back.
