My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights as we wanted a relaxing break in the New Forest. It was everything we were hoping for and would highly recommend staying here and already have done so.The b&b accommodation was beautiful, very clean, tidy and attractive, the location was quiet and peaceful but nice and near local amenities. The food was excellent and everyone very friendly.

Found this through the fabulous Farm Stay UK site for two nights away in the B&B. Just off the A36 and 5 minutes from the New Forest this is also perfectly placed for Portsmouth/Southampton and Bournemouth/Poole adventures. A very warm welcome created by the farm dogs who led us straight to the front door :-) Tina and David made us feel right at home. Large comfortable beds and a terrific classic English breakfast including the best eggs ever.

Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed at the Acorns self-catering barn conversion within Pyesmead Farm for one week. If you want a relaxing, car-free break in the New Forest area this is a good choice: it's easy to arrive by train at nearby Romsey, there's a regular bus route to Salisbury or Southampton at the top of the road, excellent local shops a 15 minute walk or 5 minute cycle ride away, cycle routes into the forest start just around the corner, and there's a lovely, heated indoor pool (that no one else seemed to be using)!

The barn itself was clean and comfortable and had a lovely private garden. The hosts were friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend Pyesmead for a quiet, off-the-beaten-track holiday in the New Forest, away from the busy tourist areas.

We hired bikes from a local company called The Bike Centre (http://www.bike-centre.co.uk/). They delivered and collected the bikes for no additional charge and the hire cost was very reasonable - I would highly recommend them.

Stayed at Pyesmead Farm's B&B for only one night and really wish we could have stayed for longer. We were made to feel very welcome from the off and shown to a lovely bright room with lovely decor and it was super clean. Great breakfast and great service. We explored the farm and met sheep, cows, chickens, cats and dogs - so a full farm experience! Great base to visit the New Forest. Can't recommend more!

Beautifully converted self catering barns, in a real working farm environment. Our toddler loved all the animals and feeding the chickens. Our barn had a lovely patio area for dinners in the evening. The location was perfect for New Forest exploring, would definitely recommend.

Stayed here with the caravan while relatives stayed in one of the self catering cottages.

It was very nice, pool was great and it was lovely to see sheep being herded across the fields.

The only thing that bugged me was the highly sarcastic and patronising signage by the recycling area.

3 generations of our family stayed in The Hayloft (my husband & I, the Grandparents, our Daughter & her son aged 7 & twins aged 2) in the week 17 -24 August. It was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable, rooms a great size. Lovely to look out over the duckpond. Our Grandson loved the pool & the little ones loved the freedom to run about outside & to make a fuss of the cats & dogs.Tina & David helpful & friendly but not in any way intrusive. Our youngest Grandson loved going to see the cows & we would have explored the farm more but were out & about every day, thanks largely to good weather. It was lovely to come back to such a great holiday home & certainly it is one of the best that we have stayed in. We have no hesitation in recommending it & plan to return. Moor Valley Park was a lovely day out (& free apart from parking), Peppa Pig World was a great hit with the little ones & we were impressed by the cleanliness & friendliness of the staff. It is a bit pricey, but then so are all such theme parks. We made sure that we were there 30 mins before official opening & would advise anyone to get there early. Kids loved The New Forest - fascinated by the free roaming animals. New Forest Wildlife Park great as well & we had a fabulous day in Bournemouth. Mostly good weather so that helped make it a lovely holiday in a lovely cottage. Thanks to David & Tina & hope to see you soon!
Elizabeth.
