Great food with variations and special requests catered for. Accepts late bookings and always made to feel welcome. Offers live acts for Entertainment in the week. Only criticism is that restaurant could be warmer as can be cold especially near the windows.

We have been to this restaurant more times than i can remember but never have we come away disappointed or had a bad meal.
It is incredibly consistent and that isn't easy to keep food coming all the time as tasty and as fresh as they manage.
The staff are friendly and knowledgable and the atmosphere is always good.
The restaurant is always clean and the beer is the perfect temperature.
Little things, i know, but its the little things that count.

Always find the food and service at Taranas to be excellent.

I use the Tarana often, both for restaurant and take-away. The food is reliably good, staff are friendly, especially the manager, and the athmosphere is nice. The meal usually arrives fairly quickly so you don't have to wait for hours. They have entertainment on some nights which is usually fun, check out the website for belly dancing and tribute acts.

An amazing night out and a special way to spend New Years Eve.

The evening offers you amazing food - the best you would ever taste, with friendly attentive staff and with extremely talented acts to entertain you to the full. Followed by a disco, to dance the night away.

The offer included popadoms, a starter, main meal, side dish, rice, dessert and coffee. Of which you can choose from the menu- so no restrictions. Oh and plus a glass of champagne.

I had paneer Ceylon, which had the perfect flavour and spice. I have eaten at Tarana several times and I have never been disappointed- the food is the best Bangladesh/Indian food I have ever tasted. and I will continually go back again and again, as no where else can compare.

The staff are very attentive and friendly and always serve you with a smile. Such lovely staff, which make you feel so welcomed to their restaurant and always available to help.

The tribute acts were amazing and were so talented and so close to the real thing.

So overall this was the best night ever, being entertained by amazing acts with the most delightful cuisine, served by lovely attentive staff and to end the night by dancing away to burn off some of the extra calories consumed. ;-)

So I would definitely recommend Tarana overall and any time throughout the year along with their themed nights and New Years Eve Party.
