This was our 2 nd visit 1 st time all was good busy evening took a while to be served but all was good the lamb stew was tasty and everybody seemed ok
We went back lunch time last week and I order a rock and chips in a pub on the beach fantastic
NO it came out cold in the middle the same thing on the next table we both complained and the meal was taken back, I changed mine to a crab salad which was good.
Just that I could see the chef trying to cut frozen fish in the kitchen
Such a shame why can't kitchens be honest, there sign says fresh fresh fish ?
If you have run out tell'em

It's all about the location. The bar food is nice but not amazing. It could be an absolute goldmine because it's the only seafront pub in Selsey- but beer garden is dated and the waitress who served us really hadn't been to charm scholl. Shame really.

Very disappointing. Food expensive and mediocre but even worse the pub is a total let down. Called there last Wednesday only to be told they had no lager. "We had a busy weekend and have run out"! I had a bottle of Becks and was supplied with a very dirty glass. I asked for a clean glass and the bar maid check 5 supposedly clean ones before she found one less dirty. It was still unacceptable so I recommend you check your glass before using it. Also, my colleague had a Cornish draft pale ale which was warm and he says tasted terrible. His glass was also dirty.

On a positive side, it is located close to the sea front so attracts the tourist trade even though it doesn't offer much of a sea view.

So, poor hygiene, expensive food, warm ale and no lager. We will not be back!

We have been here quite a few times. Get there early as it gets very busy.
The food is fantastic, you might have to wait a while, but somethings are well worth waiting for, and is all cooked fresh. Highly recommend it
