“Lovely cottages, lovely people!”
Reviewed 19 April 2012

We satyed at Setcops Farm from Winter 11 to Spring 2012 for a total of six months. The cottages were very homely, clean and peaceful and commuting distance to lincoln. They are in a very pretty and quiet rural area. We had no problems whatsoever whilst there and the owners Kevin and Elenore were really friendly and welcoming, couldn't wish for anything else. Thank you for a great stay!

Held a marquee event here, and used various of the cottages for various guests "travelling from afar" ... cannot praise it enough!! A GLORIOUS event!!

Room Tip: The Byre makes an excellent wheelchair-accessible venue. Just a wheel-in/sit-down shower to

The cottages have been decorated and equipped to an extremely high standard, the bed was also extremely comfortable and I had a very restfull nights sleep. High standards of cleanliness and despite the time of year the cottage was warm and cosy. I recieved a very warm welcome from the owners and they made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The cottages are situated away from the village but are very easy to get to with stunning views across the countryside to the Wolds. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay I would thoroughly recommend it.

The holiday cottages are very modern and comfortable. We were met by very friendly hosts Eleanor and her husband. We stopped in the Dairy cottage, which was very spacious, and featured a large bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/diner and living room (with double sofa bed). Freeview TV included. The cottages are located in a peaceful location, midway between Brigg and Market Rasen. Wireless internet is available for a small charge. We booked with some friends who stopped in a different cottage (Coach House) - they were also extremely impressed. I would have no hesitation in staying in or recommending these cottages again.

My husband and I decided on a short break in Lincolnshire so we decided to book a Setcops farm cottage. We had the most friendly welcome from our hosts and were shown to the most beautiful cottacge, it was spotlessly clean and had been decorated very tastefully. It is located in the stunning Lincolnshire wolds area and provided us with the perfect getaway breal we needed. I would definitely return again. It was also excellent value for money and I would highly recommend staying here.

We are a group of university friends who meet up every year for a walking holiday/reunion. As we always go away for a few days we need to find accommodation that accepts short break bookings. We decided to go walking this year in the Lincolnshire Wolds which is about a 10 minute drive away from Setcops Farm. The accommodation consists of 6 self contained farm cottages in a U shape around a courtyard. The buildings are new, built in 2009 to replace the original Dairy Crewyard farms buildings. The cottages are spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped; you don't even need to bring towels or bed linen. And the price was incredibly reasonable, leaving us with more beer money! When we stayed we were the only people staying there. The owner Eleanor was extremely welcoming and friendly. The cottages are in a very quiet area, sitting out in the evening with a glass of beer we could hear no sound of traffic at all. Also there is no light pollution and so the views of the star lit sky were breath taking. Setcops Farm is about a mile from the small village of North Kelsey which has two pubs. For trips out Cleethorpes beach is only about 35 minutes away, where there is plenty to do there for young and old alike. Fish and chips is a must. Or you could visit Lincoln City, with its impressive Cathedral and Castle.
