“Hidden gem of a B&B in lovely Lincolnshire”
Reviewed 31 March 2013

Delightful B&B with a great historical attachment - Its an old station, with many original features.
Stayed with a friend on a trip to visit Lincolnshire Wolds Railway.
Probably the best breakfast I have ever devoured whilst staying in a UK B&B!
Proprieters very friendly and amicable, rooms comfy and lovely location.
Convenient pub opposite too (limited ales though)

My wife and I have just had a wonderful week end as house guests of Ian and Charmagne. The accommodation is very well presented, clean and everything in place. the bedrooms are really good with everything from en suite to cake, biscuits, tea and coffee.Plenty of place to hang or stow your kit and the view from the front window reminded us that if we fancied an evening meal or a drink then there wasn't far to go.
There is an excellent guests upstairs lounge, TV, settee etc. No need to stay out on a rainy day. If you don't fancy the pub you can chill out with a book or the T.V.
Breakfasts are very good and consist of virtually anything you want - within reason, all nicely cooked and presented. Beware, you have to use the toaster yourself.

Room Tip: Field view - Twin Room Pub view - Double Room

My partner and I have just returned from having spent one of the most wonderfull nights away we have ever encountered. This bed and breakfast accomodation is first class and highly recommended. The owners made us both feel very welcome and the whole experience had a homely, friendly feel to it.The breakfast was out of this world and consisted of all local produce from a nearby farm a few meters down the road. However,be warned, this breakfast is not for the faint hearted,as the portions delivered were very large and filling. The double room my partner and I vacated was very clean with a modern feel to it,but still managing to keep the old looking authentic characteristic associated with the age of the old Station House.Another added bonus is the pub over the road called The Skipworth Arms who serve an array of ales and provide regular entertainment.Once again,we cannot recommend this bed and breakfast enough and we definitely plan to return again in the not to distant future.

Room Tip: Rooms do not have tvs,and although this was not a problem for ourselfs,it may be an idea to take som...
