Visited here a few weeks ago. Great friendly welcome. Lovely menu cooked to perfection. Was very busy due to a tournament at the local golf club but that did not affect the service. Will definitely visit again

Room Tip: Ask for one away from main road

We stayed here for one night sat 9/8/14 in the last available room the room was filthy it looked liked it had not been hoovered for 12 months there were cob webs all over the room on the windows which hadn't been cleaned for I don't know how long the beer was warm in the pub, I was charged £6.25 for a pint of tweaks tons and a wine and lemonade four times by the young waitress then when she went home the same drinks increased to £7.30 which I refused to pay, the breakfast wS ok average really but the room was a no no

We stayed here for a two night break away so we could visit Filey and Scarborough. There was such a warm friendly welcome on arrival and when we were shown to our room. The room was gorgeous so tastefully decorated it was perfect the bed was so comfy had the best two nights sleep in years. The second night we had a meal and it was fantastic the food is locally sourced and was plentiful. All the staff are so friendly it made you feel at home. In the main bar there are hundreds of various jugs hanging from the ceiling which made it so quaint,I don't envy the person that has to get them all down to clean them though. The breakfast was amazing and you were certainly filled up for the day ahead. Will definately be going back to stay and will recommend it to family and friends when they are in that area.

Room Tip: As the hotel is on the main road if you are a light sleeper you would be better with a room at the b...

We stayed here for 2 nights on a family trip visiting the surrounding coastal area. The room was fantastic and very clean with a great powerful shower. The service was excellent and very welcoming with super home made food to die for, which we would highly recommend. We also left our sons teddy bear on departure which was found by the cleaners and posted back to us within days. :) a very highly recommended inn.

Room Tip: Rooms are very big and great for family's although our room was 12b and on the main road so a bi...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here on a Friday night as a stop over for when we were going to Flamingo Land. Very happy with the quality of the rooms. Nice large and comfortable bed, and a wee lounge area complete with lazy boy couches, result! Bar area was really nice and quiet, and all of the staff within the inn were nice and accommodating. Breakfast was a nice size, there was a good choice of cereals for all ages, fruit and you also got an English breakfast which was also a good size, not too much, not to little! Sadly I didn't get to try the night food but the menu was great and judging by other reviews it looked like I missed out! I'd happily stay here again! Thank you for a nice stay!

Stayed in the deluxe double room 18 there is quite alot of road noise as its facing the busy a64 but the room was large and had a double reclining sofa to sit on the bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a good shower tried the restaurant and found the food was pretty good if a tad expensive for what it was but overall i would happily reccomend the ganton greyhound

We used this hotel as an overnight stop whilst walking the Wolds Way.
The room exceeded expectations, very large, clean and well appointed.
The hotel is open for food and drink in the evening only, and although it was busy we had an excellent meal with good service and a range of local real ales to try.
Breakfast also good and set us up for the final push to Filey.
