Great pub. Lovely home cooked food, super staff, hospitable Landlord, well kept beer (Black Sheep and Timothy Taylor's), tasteful country pub interior with separate bar and dining areas. The Wheatsheaf has it all. Understandably, it's busy every night (no food on Sunday evenings and closed on Mondays) so best to book. The Whitby crab linguine special was awesome and all the meat comes from Radford's in nearby Sleights which is really excellent. We ate here 3 times in a week, every time was consistently very good.
