Thanks for the great feedback.

We do try to ensure outside drinkers keep the noise down after 9pm. Obviously, this is only a problem in the good weather!

We stayed here with our 4 month old in July. It's conveniently close to the M5 with lots of parking, the breakfast was great and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was clean, the bed comfy and as we were at the back of the building (away from the road) it was nice and quiet and the free wifi was an added bonus. The shower could have been a bit better but for the price we paid that's a relatively minor fault.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the building are away from the main road and quieter.

Bedroom in the annex was very clean and functional, however, no aircon and with it being a very warm night, I had to have the window open which, being so close to a main road, it was very noisy. Winter weigh duvet didn't help. Moan over. The food at dinner was superb and the staff were exceptional. I needed to leave early, before the 7.30am breakfast start, but a member of staff, Tom, said that he would open up at 7.15 for me and if I told him what I wanted to eat and drink, he would make sure it was ready for me. I stay in hotels most weeks, and have been doing so for too may years to remember, but I have never been so impressed with staff as much as I was with all of the ones at the Swan. So remarkable, as they are all so young !!!

Stayed here in June as it was a good price for a hotel not too far from Bath. Quite close to the M5 which we thought might have been a problem but wasn't as it is in a nice area with a great view into the Avon valley. The hotel itself is a pub and the accommodation is apartment style in a block by the main building fronted by the beer garden and some attractive floral displays. Our room was pleasant enough if a bit small with a clean and tidy en-suite our only complaint being a small one that the carpet needed a clean. One thing I didn't like about being situated next to the beer garden was that there was a small noisy party going on till 2 am in the morning after the pub had closed. This made it difficult to sleep though I wont complain too much as the room was excellent value and included breakfast and I could have asked the party goers to be quiet.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the bar area if possible as this can be noisy

Stayed at this hotel recently whilst viewing Bristol University with my son. The staff were very friendly, the room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and service was absolutely first class. Car parking on site and ideally situated for getting into Bristol. Unfortunately for us, we didn't get to sample the evening meals but the menu looked really good- certainly our loss!

Everything was good throughout the place. Good Hearty Breakfast - Freshly Cooked To Order, Black pudding slightly to soggy for my liking , but thats just me perhaps.

Bedroom was good size and comfy bed. Shower was nice and vigorous ! Nicdrooms in a Nicely decorated courtyard with lovely bedding plant displays. Bedrooms were in an annexe adjacent to the pub, saving noise from the pub which was a good idea. Pub was a lovely old fashion place, rather than new trendy bars.

Yep just right for a base camp visiting Bristol and area. £50 B&B rate for a Double Room we were happy

Room Tip: Deffo need a car , its a bit out of the way
