i was really looking forward to a lovely pamper weekend with my daughter and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was a very unpleasant joke. The reception was slow and unhelpful, the staff looked shabby with bitten, dirty half polished nails, the key ring was a little plastic fob that was bound with sticky tape to keep it together....that was the standard throughout. we had booked dinner, they didn't have the reservation and couldn't recommend anywhere that we could eat. The pathway out to the car in the dark was dark unlit and slippy. The room was cold and draughty. Breakfast was served by staff in creased grey/white shirts, not very encouraging if the hotel think that standard is ok. When i rang to confirm our booking the week before i asked if we could organise other spa treatments, i was told no, very rudely and the time was 9.30 Sunday morning, no choice. I was glad because the massage was hopeless and the spa area was filthy around the pool it is grey and dirty. It was truly awful the entire experience.
