This hotel is in a beautiful setting and well maintained. You will not be disappointed with the rooms or facilities. I would bot hesitate to recommend for a business trip during the week, however my weekend stay left me very disappointed. We stayed at the weekend and the hotel was overrun with children, a lot of whom seemed to have no supervision and were left running around. When we were in our room we could hear them running up and down the corridors, and during the night somehow we managed to be next to a room where there was a child crying most of the night. I suspect the soundproofing is poor, but whatever the reason by morning I felt terrible from lack of sleep, rather than refreshed! When we went to use the leisure facilities it was impossible because there were more children in there than our local public baths! I am told the hotel does a special weekend offer with family lunch and use of the leisure facilities which would explain why there were so many children about. I don't expect everything to myself, but I didn't expect everywhere to be so hectic, after all this was meant to be a leisure break! The leisure facilities are excellent if you can use them though. Don't let this put you off, the hotel is great, just chose your dates carefully and decide how much these issues will impact your stay.More
