Chocolate gift shop with a cafe upstairs. Best malted milkshake, with many choices of cake to choose from. Relaxed setting with excellent service. Loved their signage - Ruining Diets since 2013. Good place for lunch or a treat.

We ordered 2 knickerbocker glory's, as a treat .They were lacklustre for the price, boring, small and a disappointment. They had tinned fruit in no sauce , shocking for the money .bettet to save your pennies than waste in this cafe.

Upon arrival we glanced at the menu and thought the menu seemed very overpriced but basic, so we walked away but after a little deliberation and hunger setting in we decided to rethink. We walked in and were greeted warmly and we took a window seat. We found the quality of the homemade food very good however presentation lacked a little. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was very family friendly. Beware dieters this one is not for you.

The team here are dedicated to making sure that you are made to feel welcome..... my 7 year old girl asks to go here regularly. Why? The chocolate fondue which is mega tasty and one portion does more than enough for two cheeky children.

The food is lovely and a good choice for a cafe - always freshly prepared.

It is spotlessly clean - very important to me, especially when you have children.

The cafe is upstairs but the staff are brilliant when it comes to either looking after your pram or helping you upstairs with it - not that I worry about that now as mine are 7 and 3 but thought it was worth a mention.

All in all a lovely cafe with great food and wonderful service.
Thank you

Really wanted to have a afternoon tea for ages so decided to go chocolate cafe. The afternoon tea was awful there ment to be little sandwich but there were a normal bread club sandwich, the scone and cake were very dry and hard the jam was good and the coffee and hot chocolate was good too. The foods, needs much improvement. The the bill was very expensive. All and all very disappointed.
