As soon as you walk through the door you are welcomed by genuinely friendly staff and shown to you table ( if your lucky enough not to queue). Menu's and specials explained and drinks orders taken. Then you have chance to appreciate the deco and atmosphere.
The food was as tasty and authentic as you'll get outside of the Med, and the choice was just as impressive. Your not rushed despite it being busy and after a breather and few more drinks we had a few more dishes, not that we we're hungry ( as 6 dishes between 2 was more than enough) but I could not get enough of the chicken wings.
The price was more than reasonable and I expected it to be more due to the amount of drinks.
Definitely will be back again it was excellent, would of been perfect if they did Sangria, which we were told is coming soon. Keep up the wonderful service and amazing food.

We had really looked forward to our visit to this new tapas bar and cafe in Ramsbottom but unfortunately we came away disappointed on a number of levels. Arriving on a Friday evening we expected a short wait and were seated soon enough. The place was packed and very warm, uncomfortably so. The addition of air con or fans would be advisable. Our food came soon enough and while it was ok, it wasn't particularly plentiful and we thought quite overpriced for what you got. Our bill came to well over £50, with a few drinks and we couldn't help feeling that we were paying over the odds. We expected to get bread with our meal but this wasn't on the menu. I'd recommend to the owners that they put some artisan bread on the menu from some of the many local suppliers. That would be a good addition that would add to their offering and give them a chance to serve up some of their fine selection of olive oils. Maybe our expectation levels were a bit high but the quality and price of our meal did leave us disappointed and we thought we should record that fact. Hopefully as the place 'beds in' it will improve and see some tweaks to the menu. For now though, it's very much a work in progress.

Having just read the last review I'll put the world right....I mean who goes to a tapas place and orders a salad? Visited with friends last Thursday and had a terrific time. A crowded room leads to great ambiance. Sat around a wine barrel and enjoyed as good tapas as anywhere around. The chorizo in honey and sherry vinegar outstanding. The croquettes superb. Worth going for the Alhambra beer on draught alone! Friendly staff, spot on service and amazing value for money. We'll be back. Brilliant Ramsbottom foodie capital of the north!

We used to buy Spanish produce from Levanter at food festivals in the past so we were really excited about visiting their new restaurant and we weren't disappointed. Went for lunch last Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Visited with my husband and our infant son.
Ordered 8 tapas between the three of us which was plenty. Our favourite dish was Croquetas which were cheeses and Serrano ham on the day we visited. They were delicious, I could have happily eaten a few plates of those all to myself!! The Boquerones (anchovies) were delicious too.
We bought some of the 'fuego' chorizo to take home just as we used to from food festivals. It is the best chorizo we've ever tasted.
We will definitely be back, hopefully one evening when we have a babysitter so we can try some of the great looking wine menu!

Glad we went early. People queuing out the door. This place really is worth all the accolades it gets. 3 of us visited for my daughter's "early birthday" meal. Initially chose 6 dishes from the menu, then we just had to try something else, only problem was the chicken wings were that good (the best I've ever had anyway), we had to order them again..... twice. Every dish was top quality, well presented and bursting with flavour. All the staff were brilliant too, couldn't have been any better if they tried. The atmosphere was perfect too. If you don't go early though, you will have to wait. We will most definitely be back.
