“Relaxing, secluded retreat ”
Reviewed 30 December 2017 for a stay in December 2017

Back to reality and the dog is sulking. This place is definitely recommended for a relaxing and refreshing vacation.
The management are friendly, the animals are adorable and the scenery is just breathtaking.
We stayed in the Rannoch from Dec 23rd through 30th and I just couldn’t wait to get back and write this review with the hope others would take advantage of this beautiful part of the United Kingdom.
From walking through the front door the place is a beautiful, clean and cosy log cabin with a wood burner which we kept lit all week and everything you could possibly need for a great week away including washer, microwave, oven, utensils, tv, games and books, the list included is on the website along with much more.
A Christmas Tree had been placed with boxed decorations waiting for us to decorate it, and with snow too it was an postcard Christmas. The views were amazing and resembled a real life winter wonderland.
The only downside was finding the place as it is tucked away but coming from Fort William if you reach the station you’ve gone too far.
The animals are all friendly and the horses, goats and chickens will happily be hand fed. Fresh eggs are available and then there are the wild birds, throw some bacon rind on the bird table and you will be overwhelmed by the amount of robins, martins and even a king fisher if you are lucky.
The walks go for miles with the beautiful river speak at the bottom of the grounds, and mountains all around, this really is the perfect getaway for adults, kids and dogs.
