We had a lovely meal here this evening (a quiet Monday). The food was delicious - I had puff pastry tart with goats cheese and salad, my husband had fish and chips, we shared a sticky toffee pudding. The Manager was friendly and welcoming and the service was very good. This is definitely one of the best restaurants we've tried in Sutherland and Caithness. We will visit again when we're next passing through Brora, even if it's only for coffee and cake.

“Dave M/cr - A must visit”
Reviewed 14 October 2013

In Brora for short holiday with friends last week, visited the Station Bistro (twice) it was so good. If in Brora you've got to visit this place. Food, service, excellent, nothing too much trouble. On the first occasion the manager was just closing up as we were walking to the front door, he opened up and welcomed the four of us in..had a really tasty main meal with wonderful sweets/puddings afterwards. It's a new venture and they are clearly working hard to please their customers as best they can. I would highly recommend a visit to the Station Bistro you will not be disappointed.

“not what we had hoped for”
Reviewed 13 October 2013

Decided to try this new restaurant as there were a number of good reviews on tripadvisor .Visited on a quiet Tuesday and was pretty disappointed with what we got. There was a long wait which lead the waitress to deduct the wine from our bill of the four meals three were ok and one was poor .The waitress was very pleasant but the meal was disappointing and we would not go back again im afraid.

“Great service and lovely food”

Last week we were in Brora to play golf. On Wednesday evening we visited the Station Bistro and wow what a surprise. We both had a half portion of lobster. It was juicy and very succulent, just right in fact! The waiter is very friendly and nothing is too much bother, he's happy to help. So if you are in Brora and looking for somewhere to eat, I would definitely urge you to drop into the Station Bistro.
