A one night stay which was our first here but definitely will not be the last. Mention of cold rooms nearly put us off- don't be as they were toasty and as warm as the reception from all the staff who were simply amazing. Rooms plush. Food yummy. *****

Absolutely fantastic hotel with brilliant staff.
Our children wanted to stay in a fancy hotel and chose Kincraig Castle Hotel: we phoned ahead to check they had a family room and the gentleman on reception (on his 2nd day!) was friendly and very helpful which finalised the decision on where to stay!
Our room was clean and spacious, even with the camp bed for our youngest.
We enjoyed an evening in the Hunter’s lounge which is cosy with beautiful furniture and a good choice of books and games. As the restaurant is closed on a Sunday and Monday evening the staff recommended some local takeaways and provided cutlery and plates for us.
Breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh eggs and the children liked the pancakes. We well looked after by the waitress. The children were delighted to find a little highland coo on their beds when we returned.
The grounds offered plenty of space for a run around and it’s just a short drive to local attractions.
The staff really made the stay, all friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you to you all. Hopefully we will see you again next year.

Stopped here for a couple of nights to attend a local funeral.
The Hotel is lovely, very Scottish without being overly twee. Check-in was friendly and quick. I had two rooms reserved and they were both clean, comfy and very welcoming. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. A special mention please to Garry, he was helpful, friendly and his grasp of customer service is exemplary, thank you. Breakfast was very nice, and thanks to the staff for organizing a private table for dinner for all my family. We had a lovely evening and the food was superb (especially the Fillet Steak!)
I would love to re-visit at some point in the future. The grounds and location were quite lovely.

I brought gift voucher for my parents anniversary last year and they got to use it back in January 2024 there. Unfortunately they didn't update there menus on website or Facebook that my parents were looking forward to lunch as my mum found something she could have as she's gluten free. They arrival and was taken to the bar which they didn't want, asked staff member which said this is where lunch Is now and was given bar meal which was fish and chips or burger in winter fruit salad and ice cream. It's a kids menu and I was so upset and disappointed they had a bad menu and came home still hungry in fact my mum was ill as the fish was greasy in batter which she can't have. She informed staff and all she got was that is how it comes. My Dads burger was dry and overcooked. The previous owners made their menu and lunch excellent that was why I got them a voucher thinking the new owners would keep the same reputation.
The staff won't hopefully to my parents and they won't be returning along with myself. We live local and unfortunately this once place was great for food unfortunately isn't anymore.

Poor management leaves night porter in peril!! We were enjoying the ambiance around the fireplace when the bar staff and night porter informed us that they are unable to take payment for drinks ordered and we could settle on checkout.
At check out drinks could not be separated from the room bill and had no ability to take payment again!!. Night manager said that he would get the drinks refunded.
