“Nice Cottage”
Reviewed 26 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

We spent few days in this cottage, the location is lovely, just in front of the loch, really relaxing.
The house has the basic so it is ok however we found the kitchen supplies not very clean.
Restaurant next door is excellent

“Good space, good facilities”
Reviewed 20 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Very pleasant stay. Clean, spacious cottage, nicely laid out, well-equipped kitchen. Extremely comfortable beds. Two good showers. Fantastic view, and handy for the seafood restaurant next door.

One thing you should know - and I hate to say it as a problem - is no wi-fi.

Digital detox is great, but it means you need to have done all of the research on what you're going to do during your stay before you arrive, or go the traditional route of calling in on the (admittedly ample) local tourist information centres. There was no signal above GPRS on either Vodafone or O2 basically until you got into Fort William. The cottage had a good selection of brochures on activities, but I guess many offs are now used to browsing opening hours etc online before we head out for the day, especially for some of the adventure activities that give mobile numbers.

“Amazing holiday”

We had an amazing holiday staying here. The cottage was everything we needed and more. Fabulous views, peaceful setting and a wonderful seafood restaurant next door. The cottage gave us an ideal base to discover the mystical Glencoe, Nevis, Oban and even a trip to Aviemore. We genuinely did not want to leave and our 3 children (aged 15, 12 & 10) were also kept entertained....a miracle in itself! The cottage was comfortable and had all the home comforts we needed. My husband wanted to take the bed home with him because he said it was the best sleep he has had in years. We have already recommended the cottage to friends and would love to return in the future to make more family memories.

Having booked this house for the last three years every July my family and I travel from all over the world to spend three days together! Mother and father are buried a short distance away and we travel up for mother and fathers birthday. They house is in a wonderful location with stunning views and has everything you could possibly need to enjoy a home from home. Easy to access and always spotless on arrival . Would recommend to everyone !

“Brilliant Winter Break In a Fantastic Setting”
Reviewed 9 March 2016 for a stay in February 2016

Party of 8 stayed for family wedding in Glencoe. Modern, warm, light and airy making the most of the uplifting views of Mountains and Loch. Two bedrooms upstairs and two down, each pair sharing a modern well equipped bathroom. Large open plan living area that worked well for our group. The kitchen is very well equipped and if you so wish, ideal for catering to a large group - but beware of the sensitive smoke alarm. The Ikea furniture throughout is clean, comfortable and suits the cottage entirely. Given good weather the Loch shore a few paces across the road would be ideal for picnics. The Seafood Cafe next door was closed in winter when we stayed but the menu looked delicious! Two Pine Martens visit the dustbins not far from the rear bedrooms each night and have a very good team technique at getting inside them! You do need to be prepared to drive distances if you want to see the sights, but equally it would be a good place to hibernate in for a week, given a good supply of food, and a satisfaction of sitting by the large panoramic windows taking in that fantastic view.

Liked best: The modern light, warm and airy design making the most of the location
Liked least: The fiddly key box - very difficult in the dark. 3 identical looking keys for different doors. A sticking inner back door.

“weekend trip with friends and kids”

The lodge was excellent , well maintained and the staff was really thoughtful, making sure small things such as coffee and snacks were also available. While the weather was awful, wee enjoyed our trip staying in the lodge which was warm and spacious. Great for 8-10 adults with a large dining table. Good view of the lake right in front of the lodge.
