Recently stayed at Waters Edge for a short break, as soon as I walked into the property and saw the sea views I knew straight away I was going to have a wonderful stay.
Beautiful house, very well equipped and everything worked as it should.. Very clean and organised to make your holiday as stress free as possible.

Being a regular visitor to North Wales this property ranks very high on my list,I will certainly be looking to stay again..

“Wonderful views, convenient location, lovely house, fishing direct from garden”

Professional and personalised service provided by the owner throughout booking which made the process easy, great directions and suggestions for eating out.
On arrival we were pleasantly surprised at the size of the property as the rooms were bigger than expected. The property was very clean and the fittings and furnishings are lovely. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and meant we could relax upon arriving.
The views from the patio and balcony were wonderful, and we had lovely weather to make the most of it. You can hear the tide lapping against the wall from the bedroom. We were visited by very tame ducks and a heron - which was lovely.
The harbour locks were a great place to while away an hour and you walk along them on the 20 minute walk to the Gardaffon Bistro - good menu selection but do book in advance.
We visited Beaumaris -15 minutes, Dinas Dinnle - 30 minutes and Caernarfon Castle 15 minutes.
We are regular visitors to this area and frequent holiday cottage users and I can say that this property is one the best we have stayed over the last few years.
Thank you so much Carol, we will be back.

“Lovely home and great location”
Reviewed 23 April 2014 for a stay in April 2014

The house is very clean and well equipped. The location is a great base to visit many local attractions and close to cycle paths. The house is in a small pretty village and has a great pub/bistro within walking distance (The Garddfon). The views over the Menai Straits across to Anglesey from the balcony and garden and beautiful. We enjoyed a glass of wine on the balcony admiring the views and sunsets most evenings. Carol – the owner is very helpful, and the booking process was straight forward. Our children are already asking when we can go back to ‘our holiday home’.

“Fantastic house, fantastic views!!”
Reviewed 6 November 2013 for a stay in November 2013

This house is a fantastic getaway which has great views and a good central location for visiting numerous places. It is fully equipped with absolutely everything you would need for a comfortable stay and had a lovely complimentary welcome pack on arrival. I would agree with the previous comment about the safety issue of the rear garden but this did not affect our own stay with two children (age 8 & 9).
We will definitely be returning to this property in the future and cannot recommend it highly enough.

“What else do you need”
Reviewed 10 September 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Great house and location. I have stayed in a few holiday rents and this is the best I have ever stayed in. If you ever want a base to see north Wales look no further. It also has a nice local pub, the food was great. The only downside is the sea wall and the lack of fence to it. I would not let my young son in the garden without me. But you have so much around you, we only looked at the garden.

Management Response
12 Sep 2013
Thank you for your lovely review and yes, I agree with you, I would advise against allowing children to play unsupervised in the garden. Conservation regulations in this area of natural outstanding natural beauty prevent fencing along the sea wall which is only a few short feet away at the bottom of the garden.
