Description: The Swellies is situated on the historic Port Dinorwic Marina, serving you fantastic breakfasts, delicious light lunches, beautiful home-made cakes, treats, and quality coffee. The Swellies is ideal for a quick pit stop on your way to work or while walking the dog, it's also the perfect place to fuel up with some quality food before embarking on a sailing trip (you can even double check the tide times using our free wifi!). For those with busy schedules The Swellies offers takeaway sandwiches, toasties, soups and hot drinks. We are proud to source our ingredients locally wherever possible. Our dry cured bacon and hand made-sausages are from Anglesey, we only use free-range eggs from happy hens and our bread is from a local artisan baker. We're sure you'll find something to take your fancy so come down and check us out :)

“Fantastic breakfast and friendly owners”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

A girlie weekend away in North Wales resulted in a few good finds - Swellies was one of them. We stayed at the Pink Palace, up the road, but opted to come down to Swellies for breakfast on Saturday, Sunday and Monday - it was that good! We were visiting Wales over the Bank Holiday weekend - the party came from Scotland, England and Switzerland. The staff were very friendly and gave us restaurant suggestions for lunch / dinner in other local villages / towns as well as sightseeing tips. I sampled scrambled eggs on toast and the full breakfast but didn't make it to the Captain's Breakfast - that seemed a bit too filling despite our climb up Snowden! I would recommend this cafe without hesitation - it was friendly, relaxed and above all the service was great. Thanks again and good luck with your new business venture.

“Brilliant cafe in a lovely location”
Reviewed 27 May 2014 via mobile

During our weekend trip to North Wales we stopped off in this cafe for brunch and a coffee. The service was very pleasant and the breakfast bap even better. We even visited again for a full breakfast before leaving for home, and brought the dog along to take around the marina. Top notch!

A warm welcome awaits you in this family run-cafe in the marina. It's very child friendly and the view of the boats is great.

“A little gem in the scenic Marina”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Swellies cafe is a lovely quaint cafe with friendly staff and reasonable prices. the food is freshly prepared using local produce. I have been for cooked breakfast with family at weekends and met friends for coffee and cakes mid week and enjoyed both occasions very much. The easy parking, and being a dog friendly cafe, makes it a perfect place to go for a walk and end it with a lovely coffee and a piece of Swellies homemade cake! delicious... I highly recommend this cafe.
